The moment you walk in, you feel right at home. There’s outdoor seating, a welcoming cafe, and a small storefront. The check in desk is set back a little. There are staff that speak English. The facilities are very clean and the futons are comfortable. There is a refrigerator/freezer to keep food that bring. The restaurant/cafe is delicious. We made dinner reservations and also breakfast. Dinner had a good variety. Breakfast is set menu. There is free water available.

This property was renovated from an outdoor school accommodations and opened in 2014 and is located on the shores of Lake Nojiri in Nagano Prefecture. Right in front of the property is the original sauna called The Sauna, and Lake Nojiri, surrounded by the 6.6 ft Mt. Kurohime, Mt. Myoko and the Madarao Kogen. Play as much as you like, take a sauna, eat a delicious meal and get a good night's sleep. LAMP Nojiriko welcomes guests with a homely atmosphere and a playful spirit. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property. The on-site restaurant serves coffee, locally produced drinks and food. *The sauna and activities need to be separately booked via the official website.
