Hello! I am Ana , host from Oporto Golden Apartment. I am portuguese living in a city neighbor to Porto. It has been since very young that I began to gather all the pennies to travel, with the purpose of collecting unforgettable moments and to live exciting experiences. Traveling makes us change. The apartment is located in the heart of the city centre, between Aliados Avenue and Bolhão Traditional Market, in one of the most typical and oldest street in the city. Despite being a central zone, the street is quiet and the apartment provides a restful night's sleep. In the neighbourhood we can find all type of services: typical or sophisticated restaurants (all price ranges), coffee shops, supermarket, typical grocery stores, fruit shops, bakeries, pharmacy, hairdresser ATMs, post office, tourism office, hype and vintage furniture, vinyl and clothing stores, etc. Also, there is a bike rental place right next door. Far-flung from our place you can find some cultural appeals such as São Bento Station, Coliseu do Porto, Majestic Café situated in one of most well-known streets of Porto - Rua de Santa Catarina, and Mercado do Bolhão our best traditional market. If you prefer and within a few minutes, you will reach the area of the Ribeira and the famous D. Luis Bridge that crosses the Douro River into the city of Gaia, where you will be able to taste one of the most famous wines in the world directly from its cellars – the Port Wine.
