The pool is really nice, great place to take the family to enjoy and relax. Alot of things the kids can do. Such as visiting the mini farm they have, playing in the play ground, and the free paddle boats and row boats are really nice.

The property is old but maintained, the breakfast was very good and the lady who is in charge of it was fabulous!

I am really glad I stayed here, and it was absolutely worth the slight detour from the A1. This is a building situated in a charming village but the property and restaurant have contemporary flair. Great shower, wifi, decor. Included breakfast was the best I've had anywhere, homemade, great portions, and a lovely pastel de nata. A few hours from Porta and Lisbon, and close to Coimbra and the shore—great location for traveling across Portugal.

We enjoyed staying in Mira - quieter than Praire de mira but easy access to the Lagoon and walking distance of shops and restaurants.
O Seica restaurant offers great value Portuguese food - the cost of a decent bottle of wine was so incredibly reasonable and the owner very friendly.
Sabores Da Grelha steakhouse is more expensive but very delicious food - must book as it gets very busy.
Sitio do Cartaxo on the lagoon is a must to visit - amazing small but quirky place to eat with delicious food. A bit expensive but worth it.

Such a nice place (Mira and surroundings).
Such a nice place (Mira and surroundings). Full of green areas, hiking trails, lagoons, beaches and forest. In addition, Praia da Mira is a lovely cute little place with several good options for dining. The "vintage cafe" next to Barrinha (near Lodge park) is a must.

Mira is too touristic, nothing authentic remains, the beach, which is beautiful, is somehow destroyed by the touristic pressure (blocks, and blocks of apartments). It isn't even good to lie down or swim due to the freezing continuous wind. Some places have good food, but most offer bad quality, even expired food (they served us squid that tasted bad), and a terrible service.
There are way too many interesting places in Portugal to come to Mira...
