The atmosphere of the hotel is chic and cozy. Decoration is modern, but warm. Breakfast is excellent, with a variety of choices; fruits, eggs, yougurt, breads, pastries, etc. Personnel at reception is very sociable and willing to help, always with a smile. Room was good size and bed very comfortable. Lights were a little tricky to learn but reception was very helpful in showing us how to work them. Location is excellent, our “Neighbors” were the royal palace and old Town! Very walkable to point of interests. Excellent choice for a stay in Stockholm!

A Natural Beauty

Modern Stockholm is uniquely made up of 30% waterways and another 30% of parks and green spaces. It’s spread across 14 islands and is both one of the world’s cleanest and most charming capitals.

Stockholm’s famously huge number of museums includes the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, the Moderna Museet and the Spritmuseum. City Hall hosts the famous Nobel Prize banquet and the Vasamuseet hosts the 300 year old Vasa warship.

The city’s past can be felt in Gamla Stan – Stockholm’s stunning Old Town with medieval layout, cobblestone streets and the Baroque-style Royal Palace. Designer Swedish clothes and interior decorations abound in the many unique stores throughout the city.

For a day away, ferries reveal the stunning Stockholm archipelago, a group of thousands of islands and rocks where you can enjoy hiking, outdoor swimming and fishing.

Whether you fly to Arlanda, Bromma, Skavsta or Västerås Airports, the city center can be reached by either train or airport coach. Booking.com offers a wide choice of accommodations for your Stockholm holiday, from modern hotels, to unique motels and affordable hostels.

Everyone should visit Stockholm - it is such a beautiful city. Our best experience was arriving by ferry from Tallin, and cruising through the many islands of the archipelago in the early morning. Gamla Stan is certainly interesting, but unfortunately is over-crowded with tourists and the shops there are mostly selling inferior product at excessive prices. Sodermalm (on a weekend) was much more interesting, and a little calmer, Kastellholmen was also interesting with good views of the harbor activity. We found Djurgardan the most relaxing island to visit - many interesting museums, including the free maritime museum, but also some lovely, quiet walks around the eastern half of the island. There are some wonderful shopping galleries in Stockholm - our favorite was NK - definitely next level in terms of class, and also able to get a decent coffee at a reasonable price there. We found a number of decent places to eat at Hotorgshallen and the surrounding area at reasonable prices. Overall, Stockholm is crowded and expensive, but still worth a visit,

It's easy to get around. People are friendly, courteous. There was the Cultural festival on in August which made it interesting to walk round at night - lots of events for families and all ages. It is easy to explore Stockholm on foot, by bus or by water - we took a short cruise to Vaxholm and really enjoyed the scenery. Lots of food to choose from - we ate local food mixed in with sandwiches, pastries and some Italian as well.

I went for the opera at Drottningholm Palace Theatre.

I went for the opera at Drottningholm Palace Theatre. Nowhere else in the world can you experience first rate Baroque opera in a theatre of that period which has been restored with original materials to its original form and is still in use. It is unique and provides a wonderful experience every August. One of the many fine examples of available attractions in Stockholm.

Beautiful clean city. Old town my favourite, loads of pretty restaurants there and very pretty town. Loved the electric scooters and how you felt very safe on their own little road, off the main road. Highly recommend this city. The swedish people are lovely.

Stockholm is a beautiful city with much to see.

Stockholm is a beautiful city with much to see. There some excellent museums and galleries - I particularly enjoyed Fotografiska, the national photography museum, and the Vasa Museum, which tells the tale of an ill-fated ship from the 17th century. There are many good restaurants offering international cuisine, but you really should try the local fare - a plate of Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes and lingonberries is hard to beat! There is much to see in Stockholm, from walking the streets and admiring the architecture, to taking a leisurely sightseeing cruise of the archipelago. I recommend it greatly and I look forward to returning some day.

This is a very compact city and easy to get around.

This is a very compact city and easy to get around. Lots of interesting historical buildings and things to do. Highly recommend the Vasa museum, Skansen and, of course, the ABBA museum. We would also recommend an Archipelago Boat tour, however we had bought the Hop-on Hop-off Bus and Boat tickets but did not feel they were value for money as the city is easy to navigate on foot.

Very comfortable beds, room & bathroom spotlessly clean, best breakfast buffet I've ever had in a hotel, most excellent location right on Gamla Stan so wherever you're off to you get to wander through the pretty medieval streets first. Unless you're off to the museums at Djürgarden, in which case the ferry terminal is right in front of the door 👌 All staff, and especially room staff, were super friendly (and obviously did an awesome job). Would absolutely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to come back to Stockholm!

Absolutely amazing location, presentation and vibe. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had with mesmerising view of Stockholm + so many options to choose from (vegan, gluten free, healthy & regular). There was a TV even in our really small room without windows so it was so nice to wind down with Netflix in the evening after full day of exploring. Also, there is so many events happening right at the hotel (October fest, Karaoke night…) so that you can meet other travellers.
