The city of Istanbul offers a trip unlike any other, encompassing Asian and European cultures to create a heady mix of art, music and food. We went on July 17th. 2024.
We went on July 17th. 2024. It was very hot and the temperture was around 33 degree centigrade. Therefore it was difficult to walk in the sun. I advice tourist to check the temprature before coming to Istanbul and come when temprature around 25 degree centigrade. Turkey is very expansive these days and the food cost and traveling are very high. One meal cost is around 450 TL (Turkey Lira). The tickets of every locations are also very high. If you visit Istanbul once does not necessary to visit again. However it is a good city and has both East and West culture. Does not necessary to visit Princesess Island as it has nothing much to see in it. There are electric cars for round tour and they left you in the middle of the journey and ask to pay additional charges to take you on the start point. However Cruise to travel bousporus is cheap. One week stay in Istanbul is good for first time visitors.

There is so much to see and do in Istanbul! 5 days allows for some time to explore some more out of the way places as well. Get to Hagia Sophia or other attraction just after 09:00 to miss the long queues.

Istanbul is the perfect city for someone wishing to take a glimpse into a vibrant, historical city with a lot to offer. My solo stay of 5 days allowed me to tour the Old City seeing the famous Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque.
The Fatih District has the Fatih Gate, Kariye Cami (Chora Church) and the Theodossian Walls. The Taksim Square area along with walking down Istiqlal Jadesi towards Galata Tower was also very pleasant. The ferry rides across the Bosphorus are a must.
The one place I would recommend people to steer clear of is the Grand Bazaar. Haggling shopkeepers, scammers, packed with tourists, cheap goods at hiked rate is not an experience people enjoy.

Istanbul is a fantastic city.
Istanbul is a fantastic city. We were in summer, it was hot, there was a crowd, but we still enjoyed every moment. Public transportation is great and cheap, there are long lines at the monuments, but you don't have to wait long because everything is well organized.
I loved that there are cats and dogs everywhere, and Turkish people don't hurt them, on the contrary, they take care of them. The city is very lively, bustling, huge. There are long distances, but it is worth walking a lot, because you can always discover something interesting along the way. You must also go to the Asian side, because it is not so tourist-centric, and therefore has a completely different atmosphere.
What I didn't like: in a place full of tourists, the vendors and restaurateurs are a bit pushy. And finally, it's hard to bear the amount of garbage everywhere.

The historic mosques, particularly in the old quarter of the city. blue Mosque and Aya Sofia were extraordinarily beautiful and the fact that they are still contributing to the faith of the community was wonderful.
There is nothing to complaing about. From their location to staff, breakfast buffet, room, cleanliness, everything was top notch. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I definitely will be whenever I'm visiting Istanbul in the future. Their staff was really helpful and informative. They can give suggestion on when and where to go. I feel like I'm staying at a 5 stars hotel with their hospitality. This hotel also has the best rooftop view
Absolutely one of the best hotels to stay in Istanbul. Very clean room, friendly staff, tasty breakfasts with good coffee on terrace on top of the hotel. Great location.
They even offered us an umbrella on the day it was supposed to rain. Our taxi for airport we booked with Booking.com didn't arrive, and the hotel staff helped us with the taxi. We almost missed the plane because of booking.com and the hotel helped us.
Location is perfect next to Metro and walking distance to Galata Tower and even Taksim square and street shops. Many restaurants and shops very close although the street itself is quiet. The attention from Safak from reception was the BEST! He helped me to find a taxi to travel and has been always helpful with luggage and everything. I’ll come back to stay in Perazre hotel if I’m coming back to Istanbul
This is the best hotel you can pick in Beyoglu, Istanbul area which is near Taksim Square, Istiklal street, Galata tower and is well-connected with metro stations to all major attractions in Sultanmehmet area namely Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque etc.
Plus, the hospitality of Murat, Bora and Karem is amazing, and it feels like a home away from home. I highly recommend this cozy hotel. 10/10
In my opinion its the best location that you can get. Taksim square literally 3-4 mins walk which connects you with all the other parts of Istanbul.
Very very clean hotel with the best personnel. The guys at reception are very helpful especially if you are looking for ideas and cheaper rates for taxi and the cleaner is the most positive guy that you will meet.
