Overall stay was good. Room was a nice size but bath tub in room a little strange. Wish they would get rid of the blue and red lights around room. Makes it feel like a night club Also, please no more plastic water bottles- replace with glass or aluminum

I really loved how quiet the place was. That's the most memorable thing for me💗. I stayed on the top floor, so there was no noise over my head, but I also noticed there weren't people running, yelling and misbehaving (disturbing other guests). Very nice place. I love that the facility is non-smoking!!! I also loved that the parking is in a parking garage (covered) so my car was safe and not feeling like an oven when I get in 🔥🔥🔥 along with easy access to the elevators. I love that I can use a cart to bring my items to the room. Very convenient. The bed was VERYYYY comfy!😍 The A/C worked perfectly and kept us cool 😎.

    You can walk from this hotel to the beach, but be warned: it's a hilly walk there and it is uphill on the way back from the beach. I would not recommend it with children younger than 9-10. If you are a couple or alone go for it. The houses are huge, the yards tiny and they are all so different. The beach is beautiful and they have a "Round House" on the pier that has an aquarium inside it. Wow.

    Laid back and very safe (they have their own police force) and so close to LAX. Good cafes, restaurants, specialty shops and a well priced supermarket. Bike and running trails. Surfing. Pier and beach. Locals are friendly!

    Stunning place and I would highly recommend Manhatton Beach to anyone wondering where in LA to visit. Visually its gorgeous but also it feels very safe and a perfect combination of being a vibrant community and destination for visitors.

    There were no homeless people or drug addicts.

    There were no homeless people or drug addicts. I enjoyed walking on the backstreets through the neighborhood down to the beach and pier. Downtown Manhattan Beach is very trendy with nice cafes and shops. I enjoyed the aquarium on the pier, and I bought a book at the local bookstore.

    Manhattan beach is app an hour away from downtown LA and 15 min from LAX. It's got a lovely vibe, people out cycling- walking along the boardwalk or playing beach volley by the pier. Plenty of parking close to beach. Nice restaurants and bars. I would say this area is more for the 30 plus travelers - it's a grown-ups sort of area. I liked the bar on the corner down the hill towards the pier- the shellback- where you could see the sunset w a cold beer in your hand through the window..

    Went for the Manhattan Beach Volleyball Tournament.

    Went for the Manhattan Beach Volleyball Tournament. With bikes, easy for us to get to, but perhaps a challenge for others that don't like to walk or bike. The beach community is great and lot of great restaurants and bars around the main pier area. Love Shellbacks for a classic dive bar fun experience off the strand.

    We like the location of the hotel, obviously it's Los Angeles, so you gotta drive, if you don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel. The hotel is 30 minutes away from Santa Monica and 30 Minutes from Disneyland. The Manhattan and Hermosa Piers are only minutes away. Nearby the hotel are endless options of restaurants or supermarkets. There's free parking in front of your room. The check-in lady/manager was very friendly, and welcoming.

    The location was really good for us, we stayed only 2 nights in the US and it's 15 minutes drive to the airport and several supermarkets and restaurants nearby. And a good base to visit Los Angeles. Rooms are big, clean and staff helpful and kind. It is recommended to rent a car, you can easily park your car in the car park below the hotel.
