The hotel is part of Pepperdine University. Very nice and clean. Great view of the ocean from the building -some rooms had ocean views, ours had a small, partial view. Spacious room.

The property is pleasant enough. It’s clean minus the ants and has a nice California beach vibe. Our room was right off the parking lot so we had a lot of noise beyond just the highway. The roof deck is what makes the hotel.

The room is bigger than the average size of comparable hotels and the building is positioned in a way almost every room (with balcony) has a view on the ocean. Very great location and nice vibe. Furniture is modern and with a very original design.
Malibu Beach House with Private Beach Access is a recently renovated villa in Malibu where guests can make the most of the private beach area and terrace.
The State Parks were beautiful. Topanga Canyon Road was closed and could not see this area.
Traffic was horrendous at time; in addition to the busy traffic, there were working on several segments of the road, and had very long one-lane car lines…

Great location; amazing sea views.
Great location; amazing sea views. If you love the sound of the surf this is the perfect place. The bed was really comfy too. Kitchen had everything you needed. I would've preferred a regular sized coffee pot, but we made what they had work.

Malibu is incredible. It’s a one of a kind city. It’s expensive to stay in Malibu but worth it if you can find the right accommodations.
And make sure you eat at Malibu seafood. It has the best fish and chips and crab salad!!!

Lots of beaches to explore and lots of different hiking areas to explore. Cost to eat out is exorbitant. Spruzzos had good food, moderately priced, varied selection and outdoor dining with beach views.

Much more quiet and chilled than expected.
Much more quiet and chilled than expected. Beautiful place and some great restaurants to eat in. We loved the Paradise restaurant ( traditional American style and huge portions) and Nobu! People in general were really really friendly.
First of all, I loved staying here! The house is located off Latigo Canyon Road in Malibu, close to the Malibu County Market, the Pier, and its adjacent beaches, as well as Pepperdine University.
I was searching for a tranquil place and found it here. Please be reminded that having a car is necessary, and the winding roads can be challenging at night if you are not accustomed to them.
I was upgraded to a family room, which was, of course, very spacious and fully equipped with a kitchen.
Peaceful location surrounded by forest and had a little stream running past. Interesting house design and layout. Lovely internal decor, obviously put together by someone with a clear aesthetic taste that I liked. My tweens thought it was magical and stated that it was the best house we'd ever been in on vacation! Bright, large windows to enjoy the surrounding nature. Well equipped and organised kitchen. Communicative host.
Our stay at the Heathercliff exceeded our expectations! This is a wonderful location in the Point Dume area of Malibu located on a quiet street with breathtaking views! It a spacious and relaxing and allows you to truly enjoy what is special about Malibu away from crowds and traffic. The residence is well appointed and very comfortable. It was a treat!
Stunning home with fantastic views over the ocean. The balconies were accessible and roomy so you could enjoy the views. All the equipment was provided so we felt immediately at home and relaxed. There is a washer drier available which is excellent when on a long trip like ours and the garage was really useful for the hire car.
The house was spacious, clean, beautiful with wonderful views from the great deck. Location was very convenient and the short trip up the mountain road was quite easy to navigate even after dark. The location was quiet and perfect for our needs to visit the beach area, central Malibu and Hollywood.
The room was recently renovated and was nice, new, and clean. The location had a marginal view of the ocean and sunset. There was plenty of parking. I guess the holel is a decent value for Malibu, but far from a good value in general.
The amenities and services were superb here. They have four pools, a spa, a gym, tennis courts, multiple bars and restaurants, a cafe, and more. It's a short drive to the beach, yet perfectly secluded within a forested part of Malibu.
This was our 2n time staying at the hotel so we love it here! Our room was ocean/PCH/Pier view so it was a little. noisy at times, but that was to be expected. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when visiting Malibu!
The property is well maintained on the nice hills 10 min away from Malibu beaches and beach clubs. Staff is always very kind and keen to help. We stayed in the Estate Room 1 and found it perfect for us. Full marks!
The hotel is part of Pepperdine University. Very nice and clean. Great view of the ocean from the building -some rooms had ocean views, ours had a small, partial view. Spacious room.
Great location and view from the terrace, the living room was spacious and comfortable, the sound of the waves crashing against rocks was very relaxing.
