The property is pleasant enough. It’s clean minus the ants and has a nice California beach vibe. Our room was right off the parking lot so we had a lot of noise beyond just the highway. The roof deck is what makes the hotel.

We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! The house is located off Latigo Canyon Road in Malibu, close to the Malibu County Market, the Pier, and its adjacent beaches, as well as Pepperdine University. I was searching for a tranquil place and found it here. Please be reminded that having a car is necessary, and the winding roads can be challenging at night if you are not accustomed to them.
