My stay here was awesome. The rooms are futuristic and everything is controlled from your phone or the room’s iPad. The huge bed and shower were great and comfortable. And the staff is personable and helpful—from the cleaners to the check-in staff to the bar staff—really appreciated every time.

It’s in a safe, convenient location. The layout of the room is smartly done (a large drawer under the bed for luggage, for example), and with a bench as well as a chair, we were both able to sit comfortably. Multiple towel racks—thank you! Adequate hangers and closet space. It was great to be able to decline/schedule housekeeping via the iPad. The hotel, room, and air system are very, very quiet. We appreciated the stylish aesthetic of citizenM.

hotel was great, but San Francisco has really taken a turn for the worst. There only are a few square blocks left in the city that feel safe. so I would recommend the hotel but not visiting the city.

Jeffie was truly the best ever! I’ve had a rough year so far but was able to find my wedding dress. I shared my excitement with Jeffie. made me a wonderful non alcoholic drink. when I got back to my room that night there was flowers cake and a card from the staff congratulating me on my engagement. I’ve never felt such warmth from a hotel from the moment I checked I. to when I checked out. I didn’t want to leave. such great amazing staff!!!!
