Where Everybody Knows Your Name
One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

Boston is a lovely lively clean and very accessible city, Walking around town is very easy and there is plenty to see and do. The Bostonian's are very warm and friendly which creates a lovely ambience around the town. Eating places are plentiful and varied. Thoroughly enjoyed the open tram rides and the Boston Tea Party. Boston is full of history.
Boston is full of history. Much of it relates to the UK, but the city is very multicultural. Driving in Boston is a challenge, but once out of the city roads are very drivable. We stayed in Boston Omni Parker Hotel and ate in the bar attached to the hotel. Really good food and portions at a reasonable price. Visiting Plymouth and other towns outside Boston was lovely, the countryside is very attractive and calming after the buzz of Boston.JulieUnited Kingdom - 4.0Scored 4.0

hotel do not remove thrash or replace towels everyday but alternate day. Your room may be filthy and not fit for use next day. Also shuttle service is very poor. It work at its leisure and may take 1 hrs.

Boston is fabulous, I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone, its a small city so easy to get around and lots of public transport options as well as a very good hop-on-off bus which takes you to all the sites.

We very much enjoyed drinks and appetizers on the terrace, and good restaurants were nearby. We had a good breakfast in the hotel too. We really liked Boston—clean streets, nice people, and not hordes of homeless. And you can rent a car from Enterprise right in the complex. Congrats to all!

The beds where so comfortable (it may have been the best hotel bed I've ever slept on), and the rooms where spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to stay comfortably. The hotel was perfectely situated near public transport, a shopping centre and so central that we could get onto the Freeway quickly and easily. Next time we are in Boston we will definitely stay at the Colonnade again. Thank you for a lovely stay!
