    Room was clean, carpet smelled.

Room was clean, carpet smelled. We were given a room that was already occupied. I found out when I unlocked the door and opened it. Someone's things were inside. After notifying the manager, he ran to verify. Then, I was given a different room but I did not feel secure after this.

Loved how close the beach was to the hotel, literally within walking distance. The drive to the Aquarium was also very close. The shopping centers were also relative close. I would definitely come back and explore more of Seaside.

The beds were very comfortable and no noise from neighboring rooms. One elevator was not working so we spent a lot of time in line and using the stair’s to get to the seventh floor. Parking is a $20/night charge after check in. Not valet, not special, not indoor…just plain paved parking lot.

Seaside is right next to Monterey, so the trip over was very short. Seaside has grown a lot in the last 10 years, and there are many newer businesses geared toward tourism to choose from. For example we were able to catch one of the NBA finals games at the nearby Buffalo Wild wings. Lots of fast food and other restaurants and also shopping such as Grocery outlet and Walgreens nearby. Beach life is just minutes away as well.

    The shower was a Joke.

The shower was a Joke. It had virtually no water pressure, and the hottest water setting was barely luke warm. The fire alarm woke everyone up at 5:45 am, and we were forced to evacuate. This was caused by a temporary power outage. There is no reason the electrical power should influence the alarms going off. The Monterey area gets power outages on a regular basis. Is the hotel supposed to evacuate every time?! Overall, the property looks shabby and old. Definitely not worth a total of $500 per day! We won’t be returning here.

Its close to the race track, Aquarium and beaches but you'll need a car to travel to most of those destinations (there are a few local beaches within walking distance but its a 10 min drive to the wharf ). It's a much more budget friendly alternative to staying in Monterey.

I absolutely love this place I stay here couple days a week I’ve grown to love the staff they make it easy and has been very nice to me . the place is always very clean and very comfortable I highly recommend this place . I also love how their beds don’t creek like most motels that I’ve been to around seaside that way you can fully feel rested like for me I go to work so a good nights rest is super important after working 12 hours shifts .

The staff were very nice, although the manager seemed kinda "above" answering simple questions and he referred to other staff to check us in, when she was clearly busy. But the rest of the staff was nice! They had a break in a water line nearby but the staff was totally fine with us leaving early and getting our money back. The hotel is in a great neighbor hood with lots of stores. Just a few minutes to a big area with Target, Ross +++.

Location in North Seaside convenient for visits to the north (Santa Cruz) and to Monterey. There's a laundromat a block away if you're in the middle of a longer route 1 trip as we were. WiFi met the teenage daughter test. Rooms were not particularly new - e.g., old carpet - but were clean and good value in my opinion. Big shopping center nearby (Target, etc) for whatever you might need.

The price was reasonable compared to other hotel prices, but hotels are WAY overpriced for what they are these days. The mattress wasn’t super comfortable and there was nothing special about the accommodations. So whereas paying under $100 is reasonable these days, paying almost $100 for an uncomfortable bed and less than exciting accommodations feels ridiculous. So, yeah.

This hotel is perfectly adequate for a stay near the coast. Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable, and a very friendly and helpful guy at the front desk. Location is very good - not far from the coast and plenty of shopping options nearby. Also fairly close to Monterey and the famous 17-mile drive. Wifi was excellent and free of charge.

Good value and good option if you do not want to pay the high hotel pricing in main tourist locations in California. It is fine for a one night stay, basic accommodations so it is not a place to hang out during the day. It is fine for those passing by or enjoying the sites during the day and looking for a budget place to stay at night.

No breakfast. Booked online with Priceline but when I went to check in I was prompted to hand over my credit card to then pay what seemed like a second time this just came as a surprise seeing that I stay in hotels every week for work and when booking with Priceline this would all be taken care of

Location easy to find just off the Pacific coast highway - that was the reason for choosing it, as we just needed an overnight stop on our journey south. Cheap price (but you get what you pay for....)

It was the lowest priced hotel in town for the size of our family. Equivalent to a Motel 6. No crib provided, even though requested. Better than sleeping on the street or in our car!
