Property was super clean and had a great vibe.
Right from the start with front desk Kathy, Ina and Nancy.
We have traveled the country and stayed many nights at Hampton and this property was the best .
The rooms were so amazing and spotless from top to bottom. This staff sets a high standard for all hotels across the country.
I rarely write reviews but I actually could not wait to share this.
Smiles all around this place!!

The house and restoration was done very thoughtful and the House is very comfortable. Breakfast is an honor system if needed you can eat cereal in the middle of the night. Everything was very, very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and it was very quiet. I highly recommend the property.

Wonderful town with polite and lovely people.
Wonderful town with polite and lovely people. They greet you on the street, invite you to local events and the Sunday service. Breakfast at the Bagel Bros., lunch at Maxfield’s or Jake’s on the Water is a must. The Clarkson Inn is a wonderful hotel to stay. For reliable taxi service call Zero Taxi.

I can't really give a fair review of Potsdam itself.
I can't really give a fair review of Potsdam itself. My daughter is a senior in college here and we have been coming here for years. It is a nice college town. There are some great places to eat, like Thai Cuisine is a nice family run Thai restaurant that is take out or eat in. park Brothers bagels and Coffee is not to be missed. Great bagels and coffee. Mama Lucia is a great Italian restaurant that serves great food too.

Friendly and efficient check in. Room was clean, cozy and had an excellent view of the river. We were very happy with the accommodations and would highly recommend for any and all travelers. I loved the small town.
I loved the small town. Close the Clarkson College, shops, and dinning. The historical part could use some TLC. The movie theater was great!! The staff was super friendly and the place was super clean. And there was an Arby's!!!!
