Our stay at the Heathercliff exceeded our expectations! This is a wonderful location in the Point Dume area of Malibu located on a quiet street with breathtaking views! It a spacious and relaxing and allows you to truly enjoy what is special about Malibu away from crowds and traffic. The residence is well appointed and very comfortable. It was a treat!

Location and the mid century modern style was well done!
We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! The rooftop deck has great drinks and the food is off the charts. We will definitely be returning soon!

Great location; amazing sea views.
Great location; amazing sea views. If you love the sound of the surf this is the perfect place. The bed was really comfy too. Kitchen had everything you needed. I would've preferred a regular sized coffee pot, but we made what they had work.

Malibu is incredible. It’s a one of a kind city. It’s expensive to stay in Malibu but worth it if you can find the right accommodations.
And make sure you eat at Malibu seafood. It has the best fish and chips and crab salad!!!

Lots of beaches to explore and lots of different hiking areas to explore. Cost to eat out is exorbitant. Spruzzos had good food, moderately priced, varied selection and outdoor dining with beach views.

Much more quiet and chilled than expected. Beautiful place and some great restaurants to eat in. We loved the Paradise restaurant ( traditional American style and huge portions) and Nobu! People in general were really really friendly.

Malibu is a glorious spot - the beach is amazing and from here LA is only 30mins away.
Lots of options for self catering or eating out.
Beware - quite expensive. A G+T was £12 ( but very nice!!)
A car is probably essential
The M was cute and clean too! My fiance and I just decided randomly to spend the night in Malibu for fun. Located right on coasy highway, good price for your money if you want a quick little Malibu trip.
The reviews made me laugh cause people said it was so loud outside. I mean... it was a little but not terrible. So if you're a light sleeper, then I would say this isn't your place. I wouldn't say it was horrible, the hotel gives you ear plugs if needed. I used them and I was fine. My fiance slept like a baby.
I wish we could have stayed longer. This was a great stay. Very welcoming staff, great atmosphere - we totally loved the SPA Pool (it's quieter) and the Food and the Ranch Club (I had the Prime Filet 12oz and it was AMAZING! one of the best steaks I've ever had!) - other than that the rooms were super cozy.
And the best: If Malibu Beach is foggy there is a high chance that the Ranch is sunny.
Excellent and unique location right on the beach, above the waves. Direct access to the beach. Veranda with sea view.
Good size apartment with ample room in both the bedroom and living room.
I also want to highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts who helped us recover an item we had forgotten at the property a few days after we had left. Thank you very much!
The cottage was cute with a beach vibe decor and very peaceful and serene, the perfect place to rest and recuperate after travelling internationally for a month. The deck is great at night with the fairy lights on.
The lady managing the property was lovely. As I was not driving she took me on a local tour of the area to show me Zuma beach and the hiking trails.
Stunning home with fantastic views over the ocean. The balconies were accessible and roomy so you could enjoy the views. All the equipment was provided so we felt immediately at home and relaxed. There is a washer drier available which is excellent when on a long trip like ours and the garage was really useful for the hire car.
The location was phenomenal. We held an executive retreat over the weekend and it suited our purposes perfectly. Nearby hikes, the clouds in the morning one day were amazing. Truly above the clouds and you could watch them lift as the sun came up (You just have to be an early bird). Highly recommended.
Everything was perfect.. comfy beds, unbelievably beautiful view for sunrise or sunset. We will be back for sure. Only one complaint was the garden service showed up at 8:00 .. best to book them after checkout. Love having morning coffee in the quiet on front patio.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Unfortunately nothing positive to tell. The whole set-up looks like a scam, it was literally not possible to stay at the place. We had to leave and look in the middle of the night for a new place causing costs and distress.
We enjoyed the size of the room and the nice view from the private balcony. The location is great if you are wanting to go to the beach, but is a few miles from the main part of town. I liked the quaint, vintage vibe of the property itself.
The amenities and services were superb here. They have four pools, a spa, a gym, tennis courts, multiple bars and restaurants, a cafe, and more. It's a short drive to the beach, yet perfectly secluded within a forested part of Malibu.
Great vibe to the hotel. Well decorated rooms with lovely extras. The roof restaurant is wonderful. The food was delicious with great service and wonderful, friendly service. A very relaxing and enjoyable few days.
We had an amazing stay at the Surfrider. Everything was perfect, and the rooftop bar/restaurant was truly off the charts! This place has it all so don’t hesitate to book your stay at the Surfrider!
Great quiet location. Spacious apartment which was clean and nicely decorated. Fully equipped with everything you need for home from home. perfect base for exploring the Malibu area.
Everything. Malibu Inn is such an excellent hotel with such a beautiful view. The staff are friendly and so accommodating. I don't want to stay anywhere but Malibu Inn in Malibu
