The place was infested with German cockroaches, and I mean infested. There is only ac in the living room, so the 2nd bedroom was so hot! When we got there all of the towels were in the dryer so we had to fold their laundry before we could even settle. The furniture is old and dirty. The bedsheets were dirty (make up smudge on sheets and hair, so we had to wash the sheets before we could get into bed. On a positive note, the location is great, the view is amazing, and the hot water is hot.

A fantastic location to stay while visiting the island. Very easy to get in and out of the town to the highways. Has the best tourist shops and restaurants. Multiple beautiful beaches with every water sport you would like to try. The water is safe and beautiful for snorkeling, swimming or just sitting and watching.Charles - 10Scored 10

I enjoyed my stay at Kona I was upgraded to an oceanfront view, which was fabulous even though I didn’t eat at restaurants I prefer cooking my own meals. I had a very relaxed vacation. We loved the island.
We loved the island. The ocean, the colorful flowers, shrubs and trees. We did an amazing all day tour to the coffee farm, the volcano national park, black sand beach, lava tube, water falls and valley. We also did an absolutely stunning tour of the Mauna Kea summit to watch the sunset, star gaze and telescope close ups of the moon, Jupiter and stars clusters. Our Manta Ray tour was cancelled due to bad sea conditions, which I appreciated very much their safety concerns over profits. Huggo's On The Rocks and Foster's Kitchen were 2 of our favorite restaurants to dine at. Manta Ray Adventures night snorkel was a blast!!!! Historical harbour cruise was fun and informative. The coffee was amazing, the food was great (although the restaurants were very crowded). Public parking was hard to come by and paid parking was very expensive. Get a rental car and you are in a good central location to hike, visit the volcano, and from all the shopping and touristy things to do.AAnonymous

The condo pull up your car walk about 50 feet you’re in your room, no hassle. I loved that the pool didn’t have a bunch of children in it. The environment is pretty good and you may find some cute birds here. We stayed for 5 nights and it was so quite at night and there was no any noise unlike hotels we stayed at other places. The room has everything we needed, including all kinds of cutlery, dish washer, washer and dryer. The staffs here were also nice and kind.

Apartment overlooking the golf fairway was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Resort is tucked away in a quiet position with a shopping centre, petrol and food nearby.
