Large, modern, comfortable and super clean rooms with all the amenities including a fridge and Nespresso coffee machine; makes waking up a joy. Courteous and responsive staff took care of all our needs. The hotel is co-located/extension of the well established Parkhotel we previously frequented. We prefer the upbeat, clean, modern furnishings of the Maximillian to the traditional decor of the venerable Parkhotel. A great base to discover the 13th “Habsburg” district of Vienna yet only a 10 minute metro ride to the city centre. Around the corner is the Cafe Dommayer, a great place to relax and enjoy a Melange & be seduced by one of the many traditional Vienna sweets. Try a “Tafelspitz” a lesser known Vienna specialty at the Plachutta restaurant next door.

This is possibly the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The entire hotel is beautiful. Great location, subway access & bus lines are right outside and it’s a quick trip into the tourist areas of Vienna. Tons of shopping and restaurants in the area however things didn’t seem to stay open that late. Both the bakery & restaurant at the hotel were fantastic. Staff were very helpful, gave lots of good recommendations for dining, drinks, transportation.

Calm hotel with beautiful decor and room window looks at these beautiful plants and what I loved the most is that there is a small balcony you can just sit in and relax. Plus they were very accommodating when I asked for an early check in and late check out
