We found the location excellent, a short walk into the town centre and then onto City Park at the end of the street. Also the Launceston Saturday Harvest market was on, literally across the street. (bonus). We walked to Stillwater restaurant a couple of k's away. Definitely easy and central. The restaurant for dinner the first night was amazing. The food exceeded our expectations. The staff sent me instructions to get the key from a lock box, all of that was easy. Plenty of car parking. The walk into the town center is only about 10 minutes. There is a steep driveway from the road up to the motel rooms, so if you have difficulty walking and don't have a car, this might be an issue.
