Worth the climb of over 300 steps! Great panoramic view of the old town! Two way traffic up the tower can be tricky at times. Cross your fingers that you will be right by the bells when the carillon is played !
Even with a museum pass we had to queue for a ticket. This is to restrict people going up and down the narrow stairs which worked well. Time visit to watch the chimes at top. The stair case has plenty of headroom so not difficult.
Towers are very impressive - all three are different, and all three are massive. You can climb Belfry of Bruges (9AM to 5PM), just get there as close to the opening as you can - it gets busy rather quickly, and the staircase is rather narrow when it gets to the top.
