The Hotel is located in the Littau district, a very quiet area 4,5 km from the city of Lucerne, which can be reached free of charge by bus or train using the pass issued by the Hotel (round trip). The structure is very clean, quiet, and well managed. The staff is very polite and helpful, and the breakfast is varied and always fresh. The Hotel Thorenberg is highly recommended. I attach a my photo taken on August 18th, 2026 at 10:00 AM.

The quietness and very convenient .. park our car at the hotel and we took the free bus around lucerne.

Check-in was seamless and easy to follow Staff were very friendly and accommodating Shower water pressure was superb Location and area were amazing Rooms were bigger than I expected, we were able to open 2 luggages and have some walking space

The room was colorful and super comfy. Everything worked perfectly. The breakfast was truly exceptional. The staff were efficient and responsive. Highly recommended

Great location, service and restaurant! The room was very comfortable, much more comfortable than in other hotels in Switzerland , coffee machine that can also make tea , impressive mini bar, good quality toiletries, great breakfast, I can go on and on, it is absolutely worth its money. This is the best hotel I’ve stayed in! Thank you! My sincere recommendation to everyone!

Great value for money, all new facilities, quiet and beautiful area, very clean.

Room cooling was nice, not A/C but still really nice. Ice machine was handy in heat wave on 1st floor. Room was very spacious, shower was excellent. Counter in bathroom was huge. Bed was nice king-size. Had balcony to walk out on.

Location was exceptional. Near to the train station and also near to chapel bridge and old town

The hotel is in an exceptionally convenient location, within walking distance to the Christmas Market at the Balestor area and the beautiful Old Town of Lucerne. This made sightseeing and evening strolls extremely enjoyable. The reception staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, providing a wonderful place to rest after a long day of exploring. Overall, we truly loved our stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne. We would definitely return again!

Loved the location, right in the middle of the old town. It was a room for 1 with lots of character. Very comfortable and had everything you would need for a great stay!

The Allstadt is a 1 star hotel probably perfectly OK but we got upgraded to their sister Hotel Krone just round the corner. Loved it. They lent us a kettle & plug adaptors & we're so helpful

This hotel is amazing. It has a great location, good and fast wifi. It has a great coffee overall. It has a safe for you to keep your important stuff. I has also a bathtub. They give you a guide map for the city and a free transport pass for the days you are there. The employees are very kind. I was very pleased with my stay. One of the best hotels I have ever been.

My room had a balcony facing mountain. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also liked the tv lounge with lots of options to play board games.

Great location and really good vibes

Overall perfect for what it is! Great location in the old center of Luzern, simply furnished rooms but with subtle elegance, and importantly comfy mattress and bedding. The coffee and beer included is a nice extra touch, and the restaurant downstairs does good food. Stayed one night but would be ideal for a long weekend also.

The location was amazing Our hotel was in Lucerne's old town and the building itself was from 1517. They kept many of the historical features of the building, which was nice. Our room (for 3) was big. Bathroom was very clean and very modern.

Fantastic location, very helpful staff, beautifully clean and comfortable. We had a triple room and it was great. Very comfy beds. Delicious breakfast.
