The Roman baths are lovely to walk around and take in the history, but there is not much writing about different artefacts etc. And instead you are given an audio guide, which may not be everyone cup of tea.
Enjoyed our time here. I would suggest going early and pre booking your tickets on line. We did and entry was very quick, the two of us were the first in and we were able to get photographs without people. Very informative audio guide although a little confused as to what number to push at times!
Fantastic. Well organised & informative which continued to entertain. Other towns & cities could learn a lot from the way this experience was conveyed to anyone who entered this special & unique place.
Wonderful.Amazing example of Roman civilisation. Incredible to think that they were built so many years ago without modern transport or equipment. The visit is well worth the queue to get in. Good idea to get there early though if with young children
Fabulous more to see each visit but allowat least 3 hours to see everything. Go early morning or late afternoon & avoid high season as there are loads of student tours, coach parties & school kids. Very, very busy
My 14 year old daughter said this was the best historical attraction we saw in England! She loved the audio guide. Often, she would be ahead of us when we went places, waiting for my husband and I to finish; here we were waiting for her to finish! Really worth going!

The room was a studio open style bedroom/kitchen lounge. Modern appliances were fitted including an induction hob. A fresh bottle of milk was provided in the fridge which was a nice touch. A Nespresso machine was also provided with a small supply of coffee capsules. It was an excellent central location with a supermarket and bus stop next door and many cafes/bars/restaurants nearby. The Roman Baths and the Abbey were a short walk away.

The hotel even ran a free wine and cheese evening when we were there. Rooms VERY compact but well designed and usable. Nice to have built in usb charging, compact bathroom worked well. The best thing is the location, in the heart of Bath, near the roman baths, the spa, shopping and restaurants. Tho of course no free parking nearby, (some pay car parks tho). Possible to park right outside the hotel to unpack tho...

Very comfortable beds and spacious apartment. The roof terrace was lovely with fantastic views and in good weather would be a lovely place to eat. (We had rain!) Superb position for seeing the sights of Bath with just a few minutes walk to the Roman Baths and city centre shops. We parked in the Charlotte Street car park, which was only a few minutes walk from the apartment.

The staff at the Bath Paradise Hotel are fantastic! So helpful and friendly. The staff helped me organise a box of chocolates and bubbles in our room and even took it one step further and wrote him a birthday card, which was so appreciated! The location is perfect to walk to the high street and the Roman Baths. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was compact but comfortable, with all facilities. Breakfast fruit salad was excellent and the other options very good. The location close to the town centre and the Roman Baths/Abbey is very handy.
Delighted to find an additional 'Bryson' commentary on the audio devices available in the Roman Baths as well as the more traditional narration.
