Friendly staff, excellent location, comfortable rooms, and spotlessly clean. Even though I stayed on the first floor, the room was very quiet. The hotel is just two blocks from Covent Garden and Leicester Square, and next to Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery. Charing Cross and Leicester Square Underground stations are only a 2-minute walk away, making it easy to get around London. Tottenham Court Road station is also about a 10-minute walk and offers direct connections to Heathrow via the Elizabeth Line and Heathrow Express.

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.
