Service was exceptional, hotel was beautiful, room was extremely comfortable. We were given an upgrade as it was our anniversary, fantastic! The food at the Savoy Grill was top notch. Loved the history of the place. The hotel was also very central, short walk to Convent Garden and walking distance to other sites, otherwise no longer than a 15 min cab ride to most attractions.

Convenient for Waterloo station but felt safe going over bridges into town in the evening. Comfortable bed and bed sofa - studio was great for me and adult daughter who likes to read late, we each had some privacy without having go book 2 rooms. Always love walking along the riverside to south bank centre - great little gift shop there.

We travel into London via Waterloo station. The hotel is a great location for getting to Westminster bridge and onwards to many of the main tourist sites. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are great. It is now our go-to hotel when we visit London.

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.

We stayed here because it wasn't too far from Waterloo as we had tickets to see Streetcar Named Desire. The play was brilliant as the shows always seem to be.
