Beautiful rooms and elegant hotel with a modern spin. Friendly and professional staff. Great location, but well designed so you don't realise you are in the center of London until you walk out of the hotel door. My 4th stay at the Londoner and it has become a firm favourite and a special treat when I am in London.

We found the staff to be welcoming and very friendly, and they were especially kind to our two young children. The room was really nice, very comfortable and the breakfast offer was excellent. The late check out time was nice for us too and made our stay feel longer and less rushed. The location was excellent being close to London Waterloo station and the south bank generally.

The room had a good view of the city (as promised) and also had a well equipped kitchenette which was an added bonus as this was not mentioned in the description/facilities on booking.com. The location is also great - 2 minute walk to Lambeth North underground and about 10 minutes to Waterloo. Also a great range of shops, pubs and cafes nearby.

The location of the Park Plaza Hotel in London Westminster is one of a kind: Very close to Big Ben and London Eye. It is very close to Waterloo Station. The hotel is quite big, which is a benefit but also the biggest issue of this hotel.

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.
