I was upgraded to Hotel Geysir. My review is of that hotel. It is a beautiful place. Very convenient. The hotel itself is beautifully on the inside and out. I didn’t expect to see a hotel like this out Olin this area.

Very clean, very nice decorations and stone walls

This was easily the most pleasant accommodation of our entire trip. The room, while not massive, felt airy and spacious thanks to the large window offering a view on the inner courtyard. Having direct access to the courtyard and hot tubs through the shower was fantastic and allowed us to unwind after a day of walking. We also dined at the restaurant and I was very pleased with my meal. All in all, an excellent stay and good value for money when compared to other hotels we stayed at. Highly recommended.

Quiet and relaxing area. Rooms were nice and clean. A glass of wine in the hot tub after a full day of hiking was perfect.
