We stayed at the Monastero Collection Hotel and it was wonderful. The location is very central and very close to the historic Colosseum and at the same time surrounded by nature. The rooms were adequate and very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent with daily housekeeping. The reception staff were polite and very helpful. We had a lovely stay in a fantastic atmosphere and would definitely come back again.

Our stay at Donna Camilla Savelli – VRetreats was nothing short of magical. This former 17th-century convent has been transformed into a serene, elegant retreat that feels worlds away from the chaos of Rome, yet sits just steps from the charm of Trastevere’s cobblestone streets and lively piazzas. The atmosphere is absolutely unique — vaulted ceilings, quiet courtyards, and a beautiful on-site chapel that still carries a sense of calm and history. We especially loved the peaceful garden and the breathtaking rooftop terrace overlooking the city at sunset. Our room was spotless, spacious, and filled with character — the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern comfort. The breakfast spread was lovely, with fresh pastries, fruits, and excellent cappuccino enjoyed under the ancient arches. Every staff member we met was warm, helpful, and genuinely caring — their hospitality made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a hotel that blends history, tranquility, and authentic Roman atmosphere, Donna Camilla Savelli is a true hidden gem. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Rome.

Everything was very good. Especially all the staff members were naturally friendly and helpful. Room service passed each time we were absent just to clan a bit and make up the bed again.

Set between the Coliseum and Piazza Venezia, the Romano is a boutique hotel overlooking the Roman Forum. The rooms are uniquely decorated and set over 4 floors of a historical building.
