We stayed in the hotel for a week. Our visit started with a complimentary room upgrade, it was amazing! The room was clean, big and very warm. The personal of the hotel are very friendly and always ready to help with every question that you have. The breakfast is pretty good, and the meal is tasty. The location is very silent, without many tourists around. Highly recommend this hotel! We will stay here again for sure in the future.

Great find in Rome. Spectacular location right next to the Circus Maximus, only a stone's throw from the Colosseum and Forum. Beautiful historic building and exceptional staff. Rooms are bright, charming and exceptionally clean.

Our stay at Donna Camilla Savelli – VRetreats was nothing short of magical. This former 17th-century convent has been transformed into a serene, elegant retreat that feels worlds away from the chaos of Rome, yet sits just steps from the charm of Trastevere’s cobblestone streets and lively piazzas. The atmosphere is absolutely unique — vaulted ceilings, quiet courtyards, and a beautiful on-site chapel that still carries a sense of calm and history. We especially loved the peaceful garden and the breathtaking rooftop terrace overlooking the city at sunset. Our room was spotless, spacious, and filled with character — the perfect balance between old-world charm and modern comfort. The breakfast spread was lovely, with fresh pastries, fruits, and excellent cappuccino enjoyed under the ancient arches. Every staff member we met was warm, helpful, and genuinely caring — their hospitality made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a hotel that blends history, tranquility, and authentic Roman atmosphere, Donna Camilla Savelli is a true hidden gem. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Rome.
