The receptionist Frederika was excellent in helping us plan our itineraries. The location was great for walking to the old city and for ease of parking. The hotel was clean and the maids were very good. The breakfast was very good. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Outstanding breakfast, huge room & bathroom (especially by European standards), beautiful grounds, spotless. You can see how monks used to build to last, and you can even see some of the old frescoes under the archways in the cloister. Would make an excellent venue site.

The staff was the best, the hotel itself, the building, the way it has been restored, the decoration, architecture, all was incredible. The room was also spacious and super elegantly decorated.
