The room is large and cozy. The design is beautiful as the hotel is built in a historical building. The staff is polite. There was no noise at night so the rooms seem to be sound proof. The beds are comfy. The location is central and you have a great sea view

We like everything - staff is very kind and generous. Room is spacious, clean, well furnished and nicely decorated. Breakfast is very delicious and rich. Hotel location is in the centre, you can go everywhere by walk.

Very nice small hotel in a great location, right next to the port and canal. The room was clean spacious (larger than what I expected from the photo), with a large comfortable bed and an elegant bathroom with shower and bidet. It was very hot during my stay but the AC was powerful and kept the room cool for a pleasant evening’s sleep. Although the location is very central and the street quite busy during the day, it was much quieter in the evening and the windows were soundproof, so all good. The breakfast is served on the ground floor, next to the lobby, it’s a nice bright space with modern design furniture and preserved elements from the old building, such as the stone arches, which I appreciated, being an architect myself. Food selection was good, especially for the sweet things, but they can also make eggs to your preference et cetera. The ladies who worked in the breakfast room were very nice and attentive. Both receptionists were courteous and helpful too, providing restaurant suggestions and printing out some documents for me. Upon departure, they gifted me some pasta made by the family company that also owns the hotel (Borin), which was a lovely gesture.

Great views from room. The hostess was very gracious and helped us make dinner reservations at a wonderful restaurant. The walk into town was easy. Coming back is uphill, but no big deal. Breakfast was great!

    There are some very nice places near the harbor, especially...

    There are some very nice places near the harbor, especially around the plaza. While there are some good hotels to stay in, there are some real gems of private facilities as well. One that we used was just steps away from the plaza and perfect for the before cruise stay. Plan carefully and you can take the ferries to other area places.
