Good location and cheap. I was on a cycling trip and didn’t want to have to travel farther than Sounkyo Onsen. All the nicer hotels were booked. So I booked here but then paid for a day pass to use the Onsen at one of the nicer hotels. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the River. Room was spacious. Staff was nice.

Location is excellent, description on the web is exactly what you get and most important the hostel has a great vibe, mainly because all the people working there are very friendly and charming.

Our host was so friendly and welcoming. The dinner she prepared was amazing, and breakfast was great too.

Near the cable car station to go to top of Mt Kurodate. Nice bathroom and toilet facilities. There's a onsen facilities at B1 and washing machine.
