Good location and cheap. I was on a cycling trip and didn’t want to have to travel farther than Sounkyo Onsen. All the nicer hotels were booked. So I booked here but then paid for a day pass to use the Onsen at one of the nicer hotels. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the River. Room was spacious. Staff was nice.

A lovely hostel with a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very helpful with every request and were extremely friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a private room for three adults — the room was spacious enough, and the shared bathrooms were clean and convenient. The dinner was very tasty.

A 5-minute walk from Sounkyo Bus Terminal, Sounkaku features hot spring baths, a sauna and 4 restaurants. It offers Japanese-style accommodations.

Our host was so friendly and welcoming. The dinner she prepared was amazing, and breakfast was great too.

13 miles from Azumamachi Hall in Kamikawa, Yumoto Ginsenkaku provides accommodations with access to a public bath.

Near the cable car station to go to top of Mt Kurodate. Nice bathroom and toilet facilities. There's a onsen facilities at B1 and washing machine.
