Hotels near Iwashita Collection, Yufu

I had an amazing stay in Yufuin! The accommodation was fantastic, with convenient parking and a private onsen. It’s particularly suitable for those traveling by car. If you don’t have a car, I recommend buying dinner to bring along, as the walk down to the village can be quite dark. However, if you have a car, it’s easy to drive out for food, as restaurants aren’t far away. The place itself was wonderful, and the host was incredibly kind. If I visit again, I’ll definitely stay here!

The location was perfect for me, 10 minutes walking from the train / bus station and on top of a light hill, so the view from our room was incredibly nice. (This also means that if you are going on foot you have to walk uphill, no big deal for us, but if you have heavy luggage it could be difficult). Both dinner and breakfast were japanese-style, but not too traditional on both taste and texture (I say this as a plus, because my partner is not keen on super traditional Japanese cooking and still managed to eat most of his breakfast). We were also offered non-meat options beforehand, which is great! The building is a mixture of western and japanese styles, so for example the common room has high tables and chairs and a parquet, while the rooms have tatami. Everything was lovely, the common area had a beautiful terrace with a view, our room had a small balcony with outside seats and a private onsen bathtub. The owner is a very nice man and we chatted during dinner. We speak good enough Japanese, so language wasn't a problem, but the owner also speaks good enough English and is very helpful. We had free access to coffee, tea and water from the common room and two complimentary water bottles in the room.

Very clean and modern, close to the station, comfortable

Clean. The staff were very accommodating though there was some difficulty communicating with them

The area was lovely. The food was incredible, delicious and a work of art. The private onsen was fantastic. I would definitely stay here again

À new boutique property for those looking for serenity and understated elegance. Despite on a small parcel of land, its design and positioning make the stay à fully relaxed and nourished experience. The breakfast and dinner are well designed, with the free flow evening drinks and snacks à bonus.

Very close to KijimaKogen park

I like the room size and the location

The view from the room balcony was beautiful. Facilities were newly built and very clean. Private hot spring bath was big and comfy. Owners were very nice making us feel very welcomed.

Our second time staying at this location. Love the private onsen and the location.

Nice and large space and facilities. Even provides 2 bottles of vine and a lot of snacks for free. Private onsen is ok.

Best location, amazing hotel, great staff, incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. One of my best stays. Thanks to the hotel team

The bed is so comfortable I can sleep long night

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious and it’s perfect for family with children. We stayed in Tsubaki room at the first floor so it was very easy for us to move around to the public bath as well as to load our luggages in the car, which is parked right in front of the main entrance. The location is near to the center of Yufuin tourist attractions, and is easily accessible if you’re driving. (You’ll need to sort of walk up the slope if you’re not driving.) Overall we are very happy with our stay here! ❤️❤️❤️

Large, well equipped, modern villa. Surprisingly calm place if one take in account closeness of main roads. Inside onsen and rotenburo on the terrace.

It is super luxury but well worth it. the staff and the Tashi made all the difference to our experience

The hot spring bath were really good. They all have different styles and sizes which are suitable for every one

I absolutely love everything here! The villa is beautiful, stylish, and has such a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a quiet getaway. The owner, uncle and aunty were incredibly warm welcoming and took great care of us throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed talking with them and felt so happy and comfortable. Delicious Dinner with campfire experience. Hope we have a chance to visit again 😊🩵

Owner was very nice, a lot of things to do and a lot of great restaurants in the area.
