I came in off Royal Princess Cruise ship after 19 sea nights. I loved the location, the hot tub and body products, the ice bucket provided for my 1996 Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot and the high floor view overlooking Yokohama harbour and several cruise ships. I could also see fireworks from China town as I sipped my champagne. The bidet is a nice warm experience as you sit on a hot comfy toilet seat. I liked the pjs provided for me but they won’t fit you if you are bigger than a size 12 Australian sizing ladies.. the mini bar fridge is not cold but I managed to get someone to take the fridge plate out and fix it as I was paying just over $450 Australian per night x 3 nights. So I expected a cold mini fridge I have stayed in Hyatts all over the world and the Hyatt in Yokohama is lovely. I had originally booked a corner suite by the recommendation of a telephonist but paid extra to get a king deluxe suite. After my own research found out the other suites had better views. The safe is quite lengthy and wide. The bathroom shower has excellent pressure. The hot tub is just that. A tub. If you have average to long legs you definitely can’t stretch your legs out. It’s a tub built for one. I still enjoyed the hot tub my heart rate was 98/146 after my bath. It triggered something. I really liked the turn down service I ordered on a couple of nights. It was like having two delightful fairies fly in and get down to business tidy up and replace anything required and fly out . Incredible and wonderful.

Very central location near the Yokohama station. You can walk to the station without going outside of buildings so that's handy when it's raining. The breakfast was a highlight. You can choose 5-6 different dishes from the kitchen everyday (you eat rice for breakfast).

    Yamashita Park is pretty close, the area of Yokohama is easy to get to and explore surrounding areas. You can get to this location on JR trains easily from Tokyo. The room itself was very nice. For the price it definitely exceeded my expectations. There is a Combini onsight that is 24/7 just outside of the lobby, inside of the building. In Yokohama near the baseball stadium and the park, this must be the best value you can find. My first stay in a Daiwa property and I was extremely satisfied.

    The New Grand is a gorgeous hotel in Yokohama, located right across from Yamashita Park. It’s in a wonderful location, perfect for a city weekend. We’ve stayed here several times and have always had an amazing experience. We will definitely stay again.

    Excellent location: easy access to Yamashita Park, museums, China town, metro, JR, bus, ship etc. Beds were comfortable, and room was clean enough (stain on the carpet,) spacious for Japan. Hot shower, enough water pressure. Good enough amenities: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, facial soap, hairbrush, toothbrush, slippers, robes etc. Yamato shipping service was great at the front desk.

    Excellent hotel (says 4 star, but 5 star in my view), great location only 5 minutes walk from Chinatown and 3 minutes from Yamashita Park. Excellent breakfast. I took 9 staff on a company trip. The hotel is very new. I would recommend getting a room with a view of the harbor/bridge - only Y2,000-3,000 more - but well worth it. We had breakfast-excellent buffet. Would definitely stay again

    This is a wonderful hotel. All do the western amenities with the Japanese attention to hospitality and detail. Location is perfection if you love Yokohamas China town and yamashita park, and also want to be close to the station.

    the location is perfect if you want to get the best of Yokohama. It's walking distance from Chinatown, Yamashita Park, Gundam Factory, Red Brick and the Motomachi Chukagai Station (subway). It's an old hotel that has maintained it's elegance. The view on the tower building shows the Yokohama Bay and cityscape :) I also must say that their customer service is top notch! I have not met a single staff who is not courteous and cheerful! Kudos to all the staff :)
