The location is good close to the lake and between the waterfall and the temple at the lake. The buses can bring you in 30 minutes to yumoto onsen where Mt. Shirane is. Also Mt. Nantai is very close. The guesthouse was very clean. No towels were available but this was not a problem for us. You can rent some if you need. In the common area is a piano and we were allowed to play, it was wonderful. The staff even showed us how he played shamisen! It was one of the nicest guesthouses I ever been to!
