We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chill Ville! The property/view, the food, and the staff were fantastic! We liked it so much that we ate all our meals at the property restaurant and spent most of our time relaxing at the property/pool. The staff, especially Harsha and Gayan, were extremely friendly and attended to our every need, thus making our stay very comfortable! We absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it!

Beautiful view of a waterfall, clean rooms, very nice family. One of the best places we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. They were very helpful with calling Tuktuks for us anytime we needed. Breakfast was nice with a view as well.

Absolutely amazing stay at Moon Rock Ella Hotel, truly one of the highlights of our trip! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The location is perfect: just a short, easy walk from Ella’s center, yet peaceful and quiet enough to unwind. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a relaxed atmosphere, ideal after a day of exploring. In the morning, we were treated to a fantastic breakfast spread with everything you could possibly want: fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, local specialties and great coffee. What truly made this place stand out, though, was the exceptional hospitality. After we checked out, someone had forgotten their shoes in the room. Before we could even panic, the host drove all the way to the train station to bring them back to us – an unforgettable act of kindness. On top of that, our laundry was returned beautifully folded and wrapped like a gift, they really care about their guests. If you’re going to Ella, don’t think twice: stay at Moon Rock Ella Hotel. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

A beautiful resort surrounded by nature — the views from the rooms are absolutely breathtaking and peaceful. The staff were incredibly attentive and caring, making us feel truly welcomed throughout our stay. The food was excellent, and the live music in the evening added a lovely touch to the atmosphere. Still, it’s a fantastic place to unwind and connect with nature — we’d love to come back!

    I stayed at Ella Rock View Hostel and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly, and the place was clean and well-maintained. My roommates were also kind and respectful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. This hostel is a perfect spot for travelers — just 650 meters from Ella Railway Station and offers a great view of Ella Rock. Highly recommended!

    Breathtaking views, great place to stay if your goal is to get up and go and not sit around the hotel all day. Very close to Ella Rock. Don’t pay more then 500Rs for a Tuk-Tuk to Little Adams Peak.

    I loved my stay here! Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms, an amazing view, good location for the hike to the Ella rock and always a good chat with the hotel manager. The tuktuk driver who lives next door became my personal driver. Everyone was so friendly and I felt sad to leave.

    The hotel was very comfortable and the rooms had such great views of Ella rock and the ravana falls too. Wije was very helpful and all the staff greeted us with such happy smiles. True Sri Lankan hospitality and warmth. Surrounded by lush greenery all around! Would definitely visit again.

    The hotel’s view is amazing, you can see Ella rock and little Adam’s peak from the balcony. The breakfast was thoughtful and changed each morning, which was very nice. The room was clean and well equipped, including table and chairs both inside and on the balcony and little fridge. The shower had very hot water always, which was great. The staff was excellent and treated us well, including recommending about activities and offering help with transport.

    The staff were very friendly, there was always someone at the service desk to assist with any questions. The breakfast was a generous portion and included unlimited tea/coffee/juice. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of town within a short walk from the train station. From my balcony I could see Ella Rock! I would stay here again.

    Best view of Ella Rock! Lovely fireflies at night on path to hotel, easy 3 min walk to main town centre. Make sure you hike the Rock its stunning view, takes 4hrs total. Super friendly staff and awesome breakfast on rooftop deck with view of the Rock and valley! Just stay here.

    I had an amazing stay at Morning Dew Hotel in Ella, Sri Lanka! The location was perfect, and the service was top-notch. The staff, especially Chamidu, were incredibly friendly and professional, making my experience even more enjoyable. The proximity to the road for Ella Rock hiking was very convenient, and the views from the pool were simply breathtaking. Plus, the delicious breakfast added an extra touch of delight to my mornings.
