The service was great. Rajan was very tentative and made the experience great

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Glendower. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. Great value for money, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The property also had a lovely and welcoming feel.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The buffet also offered excellent Sri Lankan and Asian options.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel with our family. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety and quality. The staff were exceptionally pleasant, polite, and always ready to assist us with a smile. We stayed on a half-board basis and were pleasantly surprised when the hotel arranged a complimentary high tea for us, which was a thoughtful gesture. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks for allowing our children to dine free of charge, which made our family stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Chamodya and Mogan for their excellent service during the breakfast and dinner buffets. Their friendliness and dedication were truly appreciated by our family. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. We truly appreciated the experience and look forward to visiting again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy and warm place. Newly renovated which is a bonus. The location is superb in the city center in Nuwara Eilya just next to the historical post office and the bus station near by the shops and markets. The staff is attentive and helpful making you feel welcome from the moment you step in. Highly recommend!

Very stylish and great location.

Super neat well located place. Manager was nice and got up at 5 to see me out to Horton plains. The room has heating. Nice comfy bed and best hot shower in Sri Lanka.

Special mention to the manager, Mr. Jonny - a soft-spoken gentleman whose dedication to guest satisfaction is exceptional. He and his staff are always willing to help and truly made our stay memorable. Thank you for all your arrangements and outstanding service!

Location View of Victoria park from the room Helpful behaviour of Nishant Calm and perfect place for budget travellers

The stay was perfect.really nice property. Specious and clean. The owner and the staff very friendly. Food was also amazing!! Would stay here again

This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience from start to finish. The hotel provided an incorrect address, and to make matters worse, they did not answer the phone when we tried to call for directions. As a result, we were left walking around with our luggage for nearly an hour, exhausted and completely lost. On top of that, the listing was misleading and inaccurate — it clearly stated that the rooms had air conditioning, which is absolutely essential, but in reality there was none. This felt like a deliberate misrepresentation. When we finally arrived and tried to address these issues, the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and quite unfriendly. There was no attempt to take responsibility or offer any kind of solution. Overall, this was a very negative experience and far below expectations. We are extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Fantastic and cozy accommodation during our stay in Nuwara Eliya! Great service, good food from the room service menu and overall a great and nice stay.

The room and the bathroom sizes, cleanliness, hospitality, and a very cozy bed. The Chef and the Hotel Manager nicknamed “Ash” is an amazing guy, a great hotel manager and a great cook.
