My family of three enjoyed our time in this hotel surrounded by beautiful trees and plants . The pool is well maintained and the staff are so welcoming. The breakfast is amazingly good ! The shower is very hot and very good water pressure. And there is a shower room , separated from the toilet . Plenty of space for luggage . We wish we could stay longer

Honestly this hotel was where I was at most peaceful, I think people don’t know about it much so it feels like it’s just you in the jungle. Which is exactly what I prefer. The pool was very clean. There were a few ants in the room but honestly we are in the middle of a jungle so there’s bound to be a few ants anyway. The staff is extremely extremely hospitable. They do not try to cheat you in anyway (mentioning cuz the other hotel I stayed at did). But the staff at Cottage Sigiriya was the best. Do not think twice definitely book this place.

We loved our stay in this gorgeous villa, with our own pool, tucked away in the jungle! 5 minute walk to restaurants, close to Lion Rock. Awesome breakfast. Lovely friendly owner.

    Travelling from Sigiriya to the 'cultural triangle' and the...

    Travelling from Sigiriya to the 'cultural triangle' and the National Park was amazing. Carry small notes so you can buy ice cream or ice blocks as well as some very lovely souvenirs made by locals. The elephants were plentiful and looked healthy and 'happy'

    The location was great for trips to Dambulla, and Sigiriya, and Minneriya national park. It was very spread out and it felt like no one was staying there. There were 2 pools, one was very refreshing and the main one got a little warm, bot h were very clean. The bathrooms were dated but fine, there was hot water. We had 3 rooms and 1 of the rooms had a fridge. The staff were friendly and mostly spoke pretty good english. The kids spent a lot of time in the pool and really enjoyed it and the monkeys that would come and say hi.

    This was the perfect place in the quite remote area of Sigiriya. With only 4 rooms, the staff was very attentive. Bernard (owner/manager?) helped us set up a tuk tuk as well as a safari to Minneriya National Park. Room was clean, air conditioning worked well. Pool was a nice touch, and the food at the restaurant was good as well.

    I loved absolutely everything about this property, it has very chill and nice vibe. The owner - Dinesh - is an amazing host! He is so kind and helpful! He helped me to arrange everything that I needed - the car trip from Nuwara Eliya to Sigiriya, elephant safari in Minneriya National Park, a car drive to Trincomalee. He also helped me to exchange money at a very good rate, he really was here for me during all my stay! P.S. The breakfast was sooooo good as well!
