An extraordinary sight, if not for the overly squeamish.
An extraordinary sight, if not for the overly squeamish. It really IS a chapel made up of skulls, femurs, and other bones, and a testament to human mortality and -- yet -- to permanence and the possibility of our earthly demise. Lots of other things to see, but the chapel itself merits a visit.

The apartment was in a central location near the cathedral and the chapel of bones, and a 15 minute walk from the supermarket. We had a renovated and fully equipped kitchen. There was air conditioning in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom and shower were spacious and stylishly renovated. Our host Ricardo was rapidly available by phone and he was very helpful with local recommendations. I highly recommend this place to future travelers!
