We got very early checkin plus free BF on arrival. Wonderful kindness and professional ism in staff. We stay at the Pousada when in Lisbon whithout hesitation because of the unique location, the amazing breakfast in a beautiful and calm setting, the comfy room with great bedding, the nice swimming pool/ sauna/ fitness and the great meat restaurant for the happy evenings in Lisboa. See you next time Pousada de Lisboa :-)

Service was exceptional. From our arrival and request during our stay, staff was very accommodating. Even their trainee, Sofia, was very professional and was very hospitable throughout our stay. Location was perfect too. It was walking distance to the musuem, plaza, and other tourist site. Will definitely recommend and will come back again on our next trip to Lisbon.

Everything. On my second stay, I was given a larger room with a view of Rua Aurea. I was already happy with the single room I got on my first trip so getting the larger room with a view was a real treat. Their beds are so comfortable and the rooms were so clean. The water pressure was strong and the heater worked well. Since I visited in the hottest weel of the year, the quiet and cool AC was well appreciated. Most special about this hotel is their kind and warm staff. I always felt welcome when I returned at the end of the day. The gents at the front desk were always quick to offer theie assistance while Mafalda and Bianca never failed to ask about me and my day This must be one of my best hotel stays

The square and its buildings are amazing; however, the choice of food in the restaurants is poor. Burgers and pizza are not on the top of my list of ‘delicacies’ to try in Lisbon. Unfortunately, this was the case in many popular areas, but there were also some little gems.

Get the ferry sightseeing tour off the quay at the bottom of the square. Also the Beer Museum looks a bit tacky but it is beautiful inside the cafe and very reasonable for a cold beer outside in the Square.
