The room itself was fine - I was in room 328, on the top floor at the end of the hotel. I had asked for the top floor when booking, but should have paid attention to how the hotel was facing (see comment below). The daily breakfast was good - but one morning, I did have to inform the staff that some of the fruit (bananas) were beyond fresh. The staff was very polite. My room was not changed over the 4 nights I stayed there. That was ok with me. The hotel was close to Bowdoin College, which has an excellent "free" art museum.

Great location next to the Bowdoin Campus and convenient to downtown. Visited friends in Harpswell and the Bowdoin College Art Museum to see the outstanding paintings of Monhegan. Great off season price and included a nice continental breakfast.

This is a lovely boutique hotel right in the town of Brunswick. The location couldn't be better as it is right across from Bowdoin College and adjacent to the Amtrak station. Breakfast is always good and the pastries are wonderful.

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a short taxi ride to Bowdoin College. At the end of the stay, when my Lyft ride did not show up to take me to the airport, I missed my flight and the hotel let me go back to my room for a few hours to change my flight and arrange for a taxi, even after I had already checked out. Thank you!

Adequate facilities, somewhat dated. Staff was nice. Breakfast was adequate- met the need, and had good variety. The location was convenient for Bowdoin College move-in and the room was quiet since it does not face the main road. Overall, my experience was positive and I would recommend- it was fairly basic but it worked.
