The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops. The amenities at the French Quarter Inn are superb! Complimentary champagne upon check in. Complimentary gourmet breakfast every morning. Complimentary wine and hors d'oeurvres every afternoon. Complimentary milk, warm cookies, and port wine every evening. Complimentary valet service. The fitness room was far above the standard hotels. The staff was amazing. Every person working there was polite and helpful. I forgot my sunblock and was headed out to take a boat tour and the front desk staff had some handy free of charge. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! This is the only place I will ever stay when visiting Charleston!

The staff, Chloe, Theresan, Shane and housekeeping were so very kind, professional and attentive. We will definitely stay again. WE LOVED the rooftop Pool overlooking the city and bridge. I enjoyed my morning coffee sitting by the pool with a view. The rooftop bar staff who took the time to get the lounge chairs ready and Jordan provided amazing service as well, from making sure we had ice water and drinks while comfortably lounging poolside. The food on the rooftop bar was delicious. We also enjoyed the morning coffee bar and pastries set out each morning in the hall. Nice touch.

The only bad thing is the guys are only there to make money so you need to be ready to pay anywhere from 10 dollars one day and 20 dollars the next to park to go to the beach. We parked right in front of the folly Beach Pier. When you have some age on you that is the best place to park.

The location was good - close enough and yet far enough from downtown Folly Beach proper. The pool was great and the other people in the complex were nice.
Our recent stay at this Folly Beach Airbnb was simply wonderful! The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach, local stores, and restaurants. We had an amazing time with my family and can't wait to come back for another visit. Thank you for hosting us!
Ocean front rooms. Really nice waking up to sun rising over the water. Restaurant was decent thought a bit expensive. We were there in off season weekend after Thanksgiving and rate per room was $113/night plus fees and taxes. Trip into Charleston is about 20 minute. Note, due to erosion, difficult to walk either north or south along the beach from the hotel. For an awesome beach walk go south to the county park ($5.00 for parking) and go south along the beach around to the inlet side of Folly Beach and back.
Location was exceptional. Direct beach view. Short walk across the dune access to the ocean. Less than one block to surfing lessons and beach chair rental. Three minute walk to Folly Beach restaurants and shops.
We enjoyed the location on Folly Beach. Very easy walk to the beach itself and nearby restaurants were very good. Generally a pretty quiet location, but that probably had more to do with the time of year we stayed (Feb 17-20th).
The Hotel Folly was a great place to stay on Folly Beach. it was conveniently located in town so it was a short walk to all the restaurants and the beach. The suite was clean and spacious for and had a large balcony for enjoying the ocean air.
We would stay again and would definitely recommend it to future travelers.
Perfect location for quiet, scenic and beautiful sunsets. Staff was very accommodating and a good resource for questions and recommendations. Folly Beach just 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. October was a great time to come.
