Location was beautiful beyond words. Perhaps screens on the windows to prevent mosquitoes from coming in. There is no A/C, however almost always a fantastic breeze, especially when opening all the windows and getting a cross breeze. This was the perfect little apartment for our stay.

Location was right in the middle of Vernazza, next to all the restaurants and sights. They provided a crib which was very thoughtful for us. A bottle of champagne was left in the fridge as a welcoming gift, nice touch.

The apartment was absolutely pristine clean. They have considered everything; from spices for cooking to hair dryers and straighteners. The location is phenomenal and the apartment is huge! I couldn’t speak more highly of Alice and this apartment. If you are considering booking, don’t hesitate - it is perfect.

We rented 2 apartments and had a wonderful stay. The location is up in the village and only accessible by car or bus. The local bus does run 6 times per day up and back, but does not run between the hours of 2pm-615pm. Whilst the bus service was reliable, the times were not always convenient which means that you need to arrange a taxi. I understand there are only a few taxis in Levanto - we used Mirko who was extremely reliable and charged $20euro one way for up to 4 people, $25 euro for up to 7 people. His contact number is (+39) 338 2366355. There is 1 local restaurant in the village which is an amazing experience and very well priced. They are fully booked most nights so make sure you go there to make a reservation as soon as you arrive. The apartments were well fitted out and very clean.

Monterosso is definitely my favourite of the Cinque Terre villages and this property is minutes away from the train station and just around the corner from the beach...in fact you can see the beach from the balcony. The host was amenable and friendly and there was even milk and water left in the fridge, and excellent tea/coffee making facilities...a nice touch. Don't expect five star luxury, but the bare rooms, arched walkways, and stunning views all have the most immense charm. The restaurant looks like nothing special - until the food arrives, which is absolutely excellent - and so dinner time is unsurprisingly popular! What a unique place - and slightly haunting on a thundery night. Don't miss the beautiful chapel with its famous statue.
