Location is close to the local metro station and there's a cheap car park just around the corner from it (it's an Aldi car park but you can pay for 24 hours for just £4.60). The place itself is secure with a coded key entry on the street, then key entry for the first floor to separate the upstairs pub from the hotel rooms, and then your individual room key. The rooms were nice and clean, comfy beds, and the private toilet/shower facilities were modern and clean as well.

Excellent hotel. Stayed in a suite and good value. Staff are a credit to the hotel. Always feel welcome when I stay here. The hotel is spotless, the three mile pub is a lovely pub, spacious with nice staff, pool table , dart board, and nice food. The hotel is a bit further out from the centre so better value. Only 10 - 15 min walk to metro with trains every 10 mins or so , nice quiet area and cost about 14 pounds to get a taxi back after night out at Sam fender concert. Will definitely be back again and if there is parking at the hotel if driving. Good base if staying for a few days.

Ten miles from Newcastle, The Bowes Incline Hotel offers rooms with attached bathroom and a 100-seat restaurant. Rooms are well equipped with TV, free Wi-Fi and coffee and tea-making facilities.

Hotel Gotham Newcastle was a wonderful place to stay. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the hotel’s whimsical yet stylish design. It has a unique personality that feels both elegant and fun, making it much more memorable than a typical hotel. The staff were outstanding throughout my stay. Ella and Tino were especially gracious, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Their warmth and professionalism made me feel well looked after from beginning to end. The location is another major advantage. It’s right in the heart of Newcastle, making it easy to explore the city’s restaurants, attractions, and shopping on foot. What I appreciated most was the overall atmosphere. The entire hotel felt welcoming, sophisticated and thoughtfully designed. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive, comfortable base in Newcastle.

Comfortable and very pleasant stay. The farm animals are a friendly and delightful experience for kids. The accommodation and facilities are as described already , clean and functional. Jon and trish and their family are very kind hosts. We'll be back if we get the chance.
