Its central location made exploring the town a breeze, and being just a 20-minute drive from Arezzo was incredibly convenient for our travel plans. Our room at Il Monte was not only comfortable but also pleasantly equipped with amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. The availability of coffee in the room was a notable plus point, something we found surprisingly lacking in even some five-star hotels. It was a small touch that added a lot of value to our experience. The staff at Il Monte were also exceptional, ensuring a seamless check-in process and being attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their warm hospitality enhanced our overall impression of the hotel. In summary, Il Monte provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable and convenient stay in San Savino. From its prime location to its thoughtful amenities, it truly stood out as a delightful accommodation option, and we would gladly return in the future

For me, to get a 9, the castle & facilities should receive some upgrades. Having said that, we had a lovely stay. Staff is super friendly and attentive, breakfast service is great, dinner at the restaurant really nice as well. I do think a 7 is more appropriate as a score for the castle though.

On hill top, surrounded by trees and nature. Quiet, calm, serene... You hear only the crickets and doves. Pool is great, located among lavander and olive trees. Heaven... Breakfast is very good and tasty... so is the coffee. Restaurant has good food and even better wine. All the staff is very, very nice, friendly and really helpful. We will definitely come back. I absolutely recommend.
