The room was clean, every appliance worked, had an espresso machine and a tea cattle, with coffee, cream and team replenished daily. Complimentary bottled water in ample supply. We did not need to buy water once in 5 days! The room clean-up was twice a day! I don't know about your travel experience, but in my busy business travel, my room was never cleaned twice a day. They would clean in the morning and make the beds, etc, and then we would come in, have coffee in the afternoon in the room, come later, and the cups were washed, coffee replenished! How cool is that?! Breakfast was very good, choice for everyone, from salmon to fresh omelets, fresh fruit and yogurts. The in-house restaurants were so many, we only had time to try two. The fancy ones have a dress code, especially the one with a Micheline star 2025 on the beach! The sea was cold at the end of January, so we resorted for the heated outdoor pool, had good food served by the pool from the pool bar. Location is unbeatable, it's not just next to Abu Dhabi Mall, it's attached to it.

Very kind people. The prices of the gifts are reasonable. The dates’ prices are excellent and good value compared to makkah or any where else. It is a nice transition from home to prepare for umrah before heading to makkah. Once you get closer to the Masjid An nabawi area the air smells amazing with oud smell that is unique to this place. Praying at the Raoudah Sharifa was very well organized. The tour bus is amazing very good experience. Taking the train from Madinah to Makkah is great and comfortable compared to a car or bus.

As a very long term resident of Dubai, I have watched A D grow into the wonferful, welcoming lace that it is now. I love the calmer, less frantic atmosphere - and far less traffic. Most of all, the culture. Wonderful Cultural area. The Natural History Museum alone is worth travelling to see! Dubai is vibrant, ansd will always be home, but have now bought a small apartment in A D to retreat to!

We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. All in all a memorable visit to this part of Saudi Arabia, before we final exit as expats to start our retirement.

A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The apartment also had a massage chair and had everything that you may require including a stacked fridge, an iron and iron board, electric kettle, utensils, crockery and washing machine etc. A definite value for money for 4 - 5 people and highly recommended.

Everything, bad attitude from the Egyptian guy on the phone, he shouted at me when I just ask about the location, because the name of the hotel is different from the one on booking!! No hot water in the bathroom, though it was cold weather. It is totally overpriced and not worth the money !! I don't recommend it.

We worked there 30 years ago and our children were both born there, but we left when they were small, so this was a trip down memory lane for us, and an introduction to the kids. It had changes so much, ( for the better) and we had a wonderful time. We used to love the Shwarmas and the hotel guided us to a brilliant shwarma restaurant that we ate at frequently.
