- From $261.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 183 reviewsWe loved so many things about our stay at Touchstone! First and foremost, the location on Lake Muskoka is fantastic, and the views—especially down by the water—are truly beautiful. We had a studio and felt that the accommodations were modern/updated while still managing to foster a cozy, rustic vibe. We especially loved the fireplace, the comfortable bed, and the sleek tiled wall in the bathroom. We were delighted that our studio was really more of a one bedroom, with the bed in a separate room from the living area. And there was even a washer and dryer in the unit! Everything was sparkling clean for us when we arrived. Thank you to all at Touchstone who helped make our stay so wonderful. It was the perfect couple getaway/babymoon!Guest review byRachelUnited States
- From $362.78 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 72 reviewsWe stayed at Rocky Crest Golf Resort for our honeymoon, and it was a wonderful experience. They surprised us with complimentary champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries, which made our stay feel extra special. The resort is set in a stunning natural location, and the room was very comfortable and clean. We also had a canoeing adventure that took an unexpected turn when we got caught in a storm and stranded on a far island—but the staff handled the situation calmly and did their best to bring us back safely and efficiently. The nearby restaurants served excellent food, adding to the overall experience.Guest review byQuazi MalihaCanada

The falls did not disappoint, the Canadian side of the falls were gorgeous. The tour behind the falls and the observation decks were a great experience! I would recommend the Skylon tower, behind the falls tour and the boat ride by the falls! The fireworks and light show of the falls were breath taking. and nothing beats the sunrise over the falls!Guest review byHudeck - 8.0
First time ever being in Ottawa.
First time ever being in Ottawa. It was nice to visit, and lots of scenic areas by the river. Was disappointed at how inconsiderate new visitors to Canada are around Parliament. They let their kids climb all over statues, and hit them, kick them etc. That is NOT how you behave when you are a visitor to this country and city. I wish security would have done more. Lots of walking, and no carts selling water around, which is odd. Could have made a fortune selling drinks around the hill.Guest review byMichelleCanada - 8.0

Loved - the size and configuration of room, closeness to airport and quality of buffet. Second stay - during the first we had a number of issues related to the hotel being newly opened, but they were graciously resolved by the manager. Very annoyed that they still haven't got their "process and systems" fixed so they know which guests have paid for breakfast. Once again you go to breakfast, only to have the concierge tell you your breakfast isn't included even though you have paid for it. Once again standing in line with my family, embarrased that I have to prove to a staff member I have indeed paid for breakfast. Sort this out, the staff are all aware of the issue, they could let guests know its a problem when they check and sort it out proactively so its not an issue in the morning. Or just presume that everyone has paid for breakfast and don't hassle guests to prove they have paid for it. Annoying...but worse for guests who aren't English speakers trying to negotiate for what they have paid for.Guest review byLisaCanada - 10.0

Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. The vibe in town is very much geared to tourism. When i planned this trip I knew nothing about Gananoque, but I hit a home run.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

The city looked so much cleaner than American cities.
The city looked so much cleaner than American cities. The traffic was controlled, the air was fresh, and the streets and sidewalks were clean and lighted. The urban blight so common in American cities was not visible, and the police presence was subtle but obvious.Guest review byDunkin - 6.0

Windsor wasn't exactly a cultural experience, although it did seem to have a diverse population, which was nice to see. We didn't find any hip shopping districts or cool "strips." The view of the river and the Detroit skyline was very cool, and many people were utilizing the riverwalk in the evening after dark. There were plenty of identifiable security personnel who made even the less-lit areas of the park feel relatively safe.Guest review byTank
