Honestly this was one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. The architecture is amazing, the nature is stunning. The clothing shops are so nice. That being said, it’s also one of the most expensive towns I’ve ever been to. All the other places we visited in Switzerland were less expensive. Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. A beautiful city to relax in. I am amazed the population is only 80,000 people! One of the buskers had a super voice and and was playing an unusual zither. The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful.
