It was our first time in St Ives and we really liked the relaxed feel of the town and how pretty it was in its natural seaside setting. There’s a strong creative community and the art galleries and shops are good. There are some classic English seaside town pisspoor eateries, but there are also some real gems that are well worth seeking out, if your budget allows. Walking through town in high season is tricky, it’s packed, but Carbis Bay is just nearby, go there for some peace and a spectacular beach.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Falmouth is quiet, beautiful and clean.
Falmouth is quiet, beautiful and clean. I recommend driving there through the night though. Our journey from South Yorkshire via Leicester should have been 6 hours. Due to traffic , it was 11-12 hours in the car. Also , don’t try to eat out at a restaurant after 9pm. EVERYWHERE stops serving food really early.Guest review byDickinsonUnited Kingdom - 8.0
The high street was in disarray with all the building work.
The high street was in disarray with all the building work. Walking, roads were difficult to navigate with few pedestrian crossings and very narrow pavements. Good artisan shops and The Tolcarne Inn in Newlyn served the most superb lunch.Guest review byMikeUnited Kingdom - 4.0

St Austell is a run down and neglected town hard to navigate and not much to see. Charlestown is a delightful harbor with a good choice of restaurants and bars a bit of a shame that the harbor is being worked on but it has to be done. Then further south you have Pentewan a beautiful beach within a holiday complex lots of activities for the little ones and a good beach cafe.Guest review byDebbieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

From the moment I arrived until the day I left, everything was flawless. The staff were warm and welcoming, the space was spotless and comfortable, and every little detail showed how much care went into making guests feel at home. Location was ideal, amenities were top-notch, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!Guest review bySojo MathewUnited Kingdom - 4.0

Lovely little village that becomes quite lively at around 9.30 am. Nice selection of restaurants, pubs and gift shops. Also parking was ample and very reasonably priced. We found the people in the village were very friendly and also very helpful, we eat at a few different cafes and also tried the fish and chip shop in the village and the standard of food was excellent. We couldn’t leave without stocking up on Scones and Cornish Pasties for our lunch when we arrived home.Guest review byDebbieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
