The Hotel has spectacular views across Loch Long and the surrounding hills. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the (dog friendly) room that we had was comfortable, our family had 2 other rooms in the main building and they were very happy with them. Food quality for breakfast and dinner was very good, and the menu was extensive with a good choice of Vegetarian options. Car parking was fine, and the Hotel is well situated to visit the Loch Lomond area. We enjoyed our stay, and had a good break.
The room was absolutely beautiful. The views are out of this world. The rooms were clean and facillities working. The breakfast was more than enough! The staff were very sweet and placed me next to a window for breakfast as requested. The other guests were lovely and it was nice to see animals being well looked after there. View of Loch Long: stunning! Short walk from Loch Lomond. Close to a lovely pub, bistro, local shop and a bus stop that later took me straight to Oban! The place is magical.
Balloch
Great location for discovering Loch Lomond, Lesley our host was wonderful & had thought of everything to make our stay both comfortable & safe Complimentary bottle of wine & chocolates on arrival Breakfast was delicious & plentiful Had a great meal recommendation from Lesley for the Duck Bay Hotel we ate in the lobby as fully booked but menu was the same & very good food All in all it was a wonderful break at Sheildaig farm , definitely worth a stay
Rowardennan
Stunning location, right on the shore of Loch Lomond, and just next to the West Highland Way. One of the grandest hostels I've stayed in - the huge lounge room is gorgeous with massive bay windows looking right onto the Loch. Dorm room was clean and comfortable, self catering kitchen was great, showers worked well and were really clean. Plus staff were a good laugh and super helpful. Brilliant value for money. Wish I could have stayed longer!
My booking was done at the last minute as my previous accommodation had fell through and it was after 9pm when I arrived at the hotel,The staff were very welcoming, the room was really clean and very nicely decorated. shower was lovely once I figured how to use it.The hotel is a five minute walk from balloch Station and a short walk walk from Loch lomond which has a small shopping area. I would stay again next time I'm in balloch.
The setting, on Loch Lomond, was stunning. The hotel itself is a mixture of old and new but still feels traditional. The staff were all lovely, particularly the doormen and Caitlyn, our waitress in the Cameron Grill. The room was extremely large and very well equipped and comfortable and we didn't feel like anything was lacking. We would love to return to Cameron House in the future and would highly recommend a stay.
Location excellent. Drymen is a lovely village and near to Loch Lomond. Staff very friendly & helpful. The restaurant was closed in the evening so the receptionist booked us a table at a nearby restaurant. Very nice lady. The spa looked inviting & would use next time we stay. The hotel has a lived in highland charm & although could do with some TLC we really enjoyed our stay.
Balloch
Elegant and cozy room with everything clean, tidy and neat. Bad was very comfortable they had TV with Netflix! Staff was very polite, and they were considerate about the covid. They give you a wide range of selection for breakfast which was also perfect. Right before this trip I've spent a night in a big brand branch hotel in Edinburgh Loch Lomond Guest House made them look like amateurs.
Alexandria
There’s nothing not to like about the property, it’s private, quiet, comfortable and positioned perfectly for exploring Loch Lomond and well beyond. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to help you chill-out after a day travelling / walking. Eddie was the perfect host and ensures you are well settled in. Can’t recommend Loch Lomond Apartments enough, you won’t be disappointed.
Great Hotel within a few mins walk to Luss Pier overlooking Loch Lomond, beautifully presented room & great staff, had a meal in the restaurant in the evening, steak was done superbly & it was finished with my favourite Drambuie Coffee, which, wasn’t on the drinks list but they happily provided, thank you to all staff involved with our night stay.
Apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable, host Patrick was very helpful and available if needed. The apartment was in a quiet residential location but near to loch lomond, local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. Bus terminal is also nearby next to Co op supermarket. We explored the balloch area and went to Luss and duck bay
Top class staff, super location. Beautiful hotel in the centre of balloch. Very clean, warm and modern. Food and drinks top class. We would stay again just for the staff and management alone, superb hospitality, laughs and that wholesome friendly local welcome you come to expect from a small town stay. Thanks to all the staff at Loch Lomond Hotel.
Balloch
it was in a great little town on the shores of loch lomond, beautiful places to walk and hike nearby. it was right in front of the dock for the loch cruises. there was the most beautiful park arount the castle 3 minutes walk away. there was a really good restaurant and a beer garden at the hotel. the rooms they gave us were outstanding.
The rustic antique factor of the hotel is great, Old worldly Scottish feel with nice bar and comfortable room - We have a year old Rottweiler and the hotel staff and most of the other guests loved him, the dog friendly aspect hotel made our stay in Loch Lomond do-able. We must apologise for the barking at 4am on occasions
Location was lovely, bed was comfy. Hotel is at the northern end of Loch Lomond - it's quiet, there's a little beer garden and marina so very picturesque. The ladies at breakfast were nice. The static caravan place next door looks amazing btw - some overlook the water's edge and the view is incredible.
Located about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow, Bonnie Barns sits on a hill overlooking Loch Lomond. The view is stunning - as is the accommodation and hot tub. The lodge had everything needed for our stay. We also walked into Luss (about 3.5 miles) where we had a Sunday roast at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel.
Inversnaid
We, unfortunately, did not meet our hosts, but met only the pig in the garden, who was really nice and friendly. The room is very spacious. From the B&B we could hike straight into Loch Lomond. The Bunk Bistro half a mile down the road has a very welcoming atmosphere and good food.
Clean and well thought out little studio apartment close to Loch Lomond and Balloch. Lovely surrounding countryside including a walk for our dog but beware livestock about. Access to and from the farm onto the busy main road wasn’t too bad because of close proximity to a roundabout.
Gorgeous location, the views from the restaurants are fabulous. The room was comfortable and modern. There is a small beach next to the hotel as well as a beautiful twenty minute walk along the Loch side to the Loch Lomond Shores shopping center, which is worth a visit.
Drymen
Lovely location near Loch Lomond. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner is very helpful and very kindly accommodated our late arrival.
