- From $162.26 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,817 reviewsRoom was a good size, clean, cosy and modern. The shower is convenient in the morning but there was also a bath which is great for a nice soak in the evening. I had both an evening meal and breakfast at the pub and both were excellent. I'm working away from home in Chepstow so also very convenient as avoids any possible disruption from bridge closures.Guest review byClare1404United Kingdom

Bristol is a compact and a pleasant city, easy to get to the attractions from the apartment. Clifton village/arcade is worth a visit and off course the Brunel suspension bridge is a must see. Harbourside was vibrant with lots going on and we recommend the River Station restaurant. The Museum and Art Gallery are well worth a visit.Guest review byNewlands - 8.0

I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!Guest review byJudyIreland - 10.0
Chepstow is "picture-book town" with cobble stoned, narrow...
Chepstow is "picture-book town" with cobble stoned, narrow winding roads, lined by beautiful terraced houses, each front-door in different colour. Countless flower-pedestals, flowerpots and troughs everywhere in public spaces - are all overwhelming "charm-overdrive" for the senses. The amassing people of Chepstow are genuinely welcoming, with their broadest smiles from the heart. IT WAS LIKE BEING LOST IN A CHILDREN'S STORY BOOK. We kept singing `Balamory....' everywhere we went in Chepstow. Colin’s ice-cream shop serves LOVE & HAPPINESS with their ice-cream. Chepstow Castle, Museum, the Old Wye Bridge, The Riverside Pub - with live music bouncing off the rock-face of the cliff across the river, The Boat Inn with their lovely food, St Mary's Church with its beautiful architecture of the past - They all come to gather, to create a land of magic. CHEPSTOW IS A DREAM YOU DON'T WANT TO WAKE UP FROM. Do go and experience this hidden world of charm.Guest review byDavid JosephCanada - 10.0

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.Guest review byPhillips - 10.0

A town that has grown a lot in size but still retains a small town feel with a bustling high street with many local businesses. The marina is impressive and a good place for a pleasant walk. Stoney beaches are very accessible and while they are not ideal for bathing they afford good views across the channel. The local skateboard park and lido are much used facilities.Guest review byWilliamUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There was nothing much where we stayed in the actual village but a Garden centre was nearby for breakfasts and a local store for snacks and drinks and anything else we needed. We spent the day at a wedding held at Tortworth Court which was absolutely excellent for facilities, gardens, views and services. Very beautiful!Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 6.0

You could clearly see that renovation was being undertaken the front looked charming and the restaurant was very comfortable and food very good. On arrival it didn’t feel welcoming and when we highlighted a broken piece ce of furniture the attitude to it was lack lustre. I can clearly see the potential for this to be a hidden as the town is picturesque.Guest review byNatalie - 6.0

Visiting mid-week I found the choice of places to eat away from the hotel was not great, some pubs were shut or not serving food and the Hungry Horse has a policy of shutting at 10 pm every day other than weekends - loads of Charity Shops but not much else however the easy access to Bath and Bristol by train make Keynsham a good place to stay if wishing to explore the area.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 2.0

Uncomfortable and disappointing - there is no lift at the premises so luggage has to be carried up stairs, the windows had been left open so our room was cold and felt damp. There was no additional bedding in the room and the switches for the heater had been disabled.Guest review byPamelaUnited Kingdom
