From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and exceptional service. The rooms at Cavo Tagoo are simply stunning. They are beautifully designed and offer a luxurious and comfortable space to relax and unwind. The attention to detail in the room decor is impressive, and I felt like I was staying in a true paradise. Speaking of service, the staff at Cavo Tagoo truly went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for the best local attractions, they were always there to help. Now, let's talk about the food. The dining experience at Cavo Tagoo was nothing short of amazing. The hotel offers a variety of dining options, from casual poolside snacks to fine dining experiences. Every meal I had was delicious and beautifully presented. The culinary team at Cavo Tagoo truly knows how to create a memorable dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Cavo Tagoo enough. Whether if you're a history buff or looking for an instagram...
Whether if you're a history buff or looking for an instagram-able location for your next selfie, the Old Town and adjacent Venetian Harbour are fascinating to walk around. The area is full of great photo opportunities around every corner, as well as cool little shops and restaurants scattered throughout. The more modern shopping precinct of Chania is in the centre with everything you may need during your visit. Public transport is cheap and reliable although car hire shops abound if you prefer to drive yourself. There are tour companies available if you want to go sight-seeing and let someone else do the driving. Make sure you visit the Archaeological Museum during your stay to learn the history of human habitation on Crete. Chania is a great spot to base yourself for travel in the north-west region of Crete. There are so many places to visit that are within a day's drive from Chania. Chania is a must-do location to visit when you come to Crete.Guest review byPriscillaAustralia - 8.0

Rhodes truly impressed me – a beautiful island with a perfect mix of history, culture, and stunning beaches. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, and everywhere you go there’s something unique to discover. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely love to come backGuest review byMitko ApostolovBulgaria - 10.0
Heraklio was beautiful.
Heraklio was beautiful. The archeological museum is incredible. The history musuem is likewise. The underpopularized The Museum of Ancient Technology was faciinating.......The city is a fine landing place to Crete and offers much more on its own, however we found the graffiti to be overwhelming. I do not believe the slander of it to reflective of the intellegence of the residents of the city - from my interactions. Moreover the beauty of the archetecture is marred by the slander perpetrated. I can only think that the building owners are overwhelmed by the constant repainting required. Hate speech is not free speech but rather incitement.Guest review byHanaIsrael - 10.0
Fira is awesome! I personally liked it better than Oia.
Fira is awesome! I personally liked it better than Oia. Great shops, food, and things to do! Many lovelt restaurants are in walking distance, and this includes formal, sit-down places and also to-do, take away spots. It feels very safe! It is clean. Fun night life is you are looking for it but also easy to relax in your own place and not feel bothered by nightlife. Things to do include: Hiking to Oia (see note below), beaches (black sand is so cool!), horse riding on the beach, renting atv/scooter, shopping, cooking class, boat ride, Amoundi Bay & cliff jumping near Oia port (see note below). *Hiking to Oia: super cool!! Highlyt recommend if you liking hiking. Wear sneakers at a minimum (no sandals), terrain can be rocking at times, lots of dust, lots of ups and down hills. Go early in the day!! It gets hot fast and you feels it durig the walk. *Amoundi Bay & cliff jumping: you have to go down many steps to get to the port of Amnoubdi Bay...From the main area of Ammoudi Bay, continue walking past the seafood tavernas along a rocky dirt path. There is a gate up but people just walk around it. The beach is small and rocky. It gets busy quickly, Its easy to get into the water there however because it is quite shallow. The cliff jumping is fun! You have to swim out and climb up to get to the platform but easy enough for children to do! Favorite spots: coffe = coffee lab; quick food place = Yogi ; restaurant (greek food) = triana tavernaGuest review byhonsaUnited States - 6.0

My evaluation is strongly influenced by the period when we visited the island – August. Therefore, I do not recommend visiting the island in August, as it is extremely overcrowded. Also, the steep streets and narrow access alleys become even more difficult to navigate during this time of year, and you will need to fully rely on your driving skills, often pushing your car to its limits. We missed some of the island’s attractions because of these inconveniences. That being said, the island has many beautiful places to see and experience – beaches, breathtaking views, tavernas, welcoming people, and much more. I recommend visiting the island in September, ideally for 5–10 days, and exploring the most popular places early in the morning. This way, you will get the best of what the island has to offer.Guest review bySebastianRomania - 10.0
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.Guest review byBandeleUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Picturesque and huge old town.
Picturesque and huge old town. You can really get lost in its maze of alleys and just explore it. Amazingly clean. The locals are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. It has kept an authenticity in its flair. Crowded during the high season, but with good quality visitors. A place to come back to once you discover it.Guest review byCatherineGreece - 10.0

Best place to stay when in Crete if you are looking for a mix of relaxation at the beach and exploring the island. Great sandy beaches, cool beach bars, beautiful old town filled with vibrant clubs and restaurants. The town is ideally placed so that you can rent a car, pay for an excursion or even use public transport (which is beautufly organised) to explore wild beaches but Chania and Heraklion as well.Guest review byMiljanSerbia - 10.0
