The team was PHENOMENAL. So accommodating and hospitable
Oia’s stunning blue roofs and whitewashed buildings are an instantly recognisable scene. Sunset around the castle attracts flocks of budding photographers daily.
Set in historic Fira, this fascinating museum tells the story of the island’s prehistoric periods through exhibitions of pottery, ancient tools and weapons.
Destroyed during the island’s volcanic eruption and excavated in 1967, the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri is said to have been Plato's inspiration for Atlantis.
The 7-km-long Perissa Beach is recognisable by its volcanic black sands and the imposing Mesa Vouno Mountain, which emerges from its crystal-clear waters.
We loved the customer service, they were extremely attentive with us, they did everything as possible to make us feel the best we can and to have an amazing experience in Santorini and the Hotel in general. The suite that we had was one of the caves suites that has a pool outside and inside, but this suite has the best pool outside view that you would ever have in the whole Island, amazing place for pictures and specially the sunset. Now, the restaurant have delicious dishes and drinks, one of the best restaurants of the Island 100%.
Now, we had a flight at night and our check out was early, but as they really wanted to make us feel great they gave us another suite until we leave the Island (also there was availability so we were lucky on this one). One last thing, we forgot our passports at the safe of the room, we called them and they came with our passports and personal belongings that we left at the safe right away to the Airport, as we said they were extremely helpful and great with us. It was a dreamt experience and we thanks all the staff of the Hotel. We will come back again soon!
We fell in love with Louis Studios, the staff was super friendly. The place was very clean and the pool was the best part. They had these wonderful bed by the pool and a great little food kitchen by the pool for room service too. Marie and her mother were the best cooks, the food was absolutely delicious. This hotel is located away from all the hustle and busy areas, but if you rent a car you can be anywhere in less the 15 to 25 min. We ate at Mario Restaurant which came highly recommended and did not disappoint. There is a black sand beach is just steps away, where you can watch the sunrise. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Santorini.
We loved staying in the cream suite with our very own pool, private entrance and balcony. The room was super spacious and facilities were great. The staff were all very kind and very professional. The reception staff were always available and ready to help. The views from the hotel is amazing and breakfast in the balcony was incredible. I also thoroughly enjoyed the massage I got from Eri, the on site physical therapist. She is a trained professional and masseuse - best and most relaxing massage I’ve gotten so far.
The food and experience were great! This was the last leg of our trip and it was nice to wind down with a massage and relaxation/drinks by the pool! We loved all the staff, especially the bartenders!! The drink and food menu had plenty to pick from. The hotel made several accommodations for us, which was very helpful, including taxi rides to and from Oia. Would highly recommend this hotel!
I couldn’t rave any more about the girls that run this hotel!! They were the most friendly accommodating hosts I have ever met !! Anything you need or ask they immediately were on it to assist me☺️ the breakfast every morning was fabulous! The coffee machine made the best drinks I have ever had! The pool and facilities were the very best and always spotless.
The views from the Room were fantastic, overlooking the blue waters. The room was comfortable, bathroom with tub was good and the Balcony to sit in and soak in the views. The Staff was particularly helpful with Parking, arranging a photographer, etc. The breakfast has good spread with very attentive staff. Good conversations as well.
Great hotel, with absolutely helpful and effective staff, made our stay a great experience! Would definitely come back again! Special thanks to Lia who helped us a lot with all our questions and activities 8n the hotel and on the island!
The resort was beautiful and in a terrific location - a short beautiful walk into Fira. The staff was also wonderful and upgraded our room for the final two days of our stay. We will definitely stay again next time we visit!

We only stayed in Fira before Island hopping. However, it is a stunning place to visit as we have done so on many occasions.
You need to be pretty mobile as it's steep in places with lots of steps!
Prices vary at various bars and restaurants and you will pay top price to watch the sunset with a view to die for, but there are other lovely places more reasonably priced further down the town.

So beautiful and picturesque! Take lots of photos, you won’t regret it! Restaurants are a bit overpriced but there are plenty of other food options around. The tours are worth it so be sure to book something you’d like to see. A car to get around is best but the buses are so easy to use to tour the whole island!

Kamari is a fantastic destination – in our opinion, the best place to stay on Santorini.
It is lively but still peaceful, with crystal-clear water and beaches covered with black pebbles. The main promenade along the sea is full of shops and restaurants. Prices are similar to other Greek islands. It is just a 10-minute drive from the airport, and there are regular buses to Fira. Taxis are more expensivem, a one-way ride to Perissa, Fira, or Oia costs €40, we ordered taxis via the Uber application.
You can also take a boat from Kamari to Perissa for €8 per person – we definitely recommend trying that experience.
Overall, Kamari is a much better place to stay than Perissa. The whole resort is right by the sea and has better beaches.
Oia is a beautiful place, but extremely crowded, the beaches are difficult to access from the hill and will probably be expensive, we recommend just taking a trip there.

It’s an expensive town. Beach is difficult - all bars and restaurants offer ‘free sunloungers’ to customers but then you must spend at least €20pp in the restaurant- and are persistent on reminding you to spend the money. There is VERY difficult sea access all along the beach - slippery flat rock for quite a while - so getting in and out of the sea was somewhat challenging. And large waves. And it was boiling hot - not great. I wouldn’t consider returning ever!

We loved Imerovigli.
We loved Imerovigli. It has some lovely cafes and restaurants away from busy Fira which is just a 20 minute walk down the hill. Avocado restaurant is great for dinner and Ellie cafe next door excellent for great coffee and breakfast. Wonderful sunsets!!

Not much happening in Karterados and Fira is bloody expensive. I would however recommend moving on to other nicer islands such as Milos, Ios, Naxos and particularly Paros. Santorini is a bit shit, the steps from the old port are literally covered in Donkey shit, it's disgusting

Akrotiri is a beautiful town. I definitely recommend visiting the Akrotiri archaeological site, but the entrance fee of 20 euros is honestly way too expensive. The White Beach and Red Beach are nice, but not really our thing because they’re overcrowded. We preferred finding some quieter beaches instead

Quiet little town located quite high up on the island so the views are just awesome. It's also super central and close to everything. We hired a quad for the 4 days in Santorini, this was such a good idea as it was so easy to get around the island.

Best location in Santorini you can get just in the the heart right in between Thira and Imerovigli - 10-15mins walk in both directions. Beautiful and relaxing town with everything you could ask for and still without the noise from clubs until late night like in Thira!
Firostefani simply is a must to pick!
