- From $179.57 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 593 reviewsAbsolutely perfect staff !! receptionists I talked to ... , staff in the restaurant ... , cleaning service ... every single person I met was friendly and helpful. This is not always a standard also in other 4* hotels, especially during high season and fully booked hotel. What else ? we missed the dinner first evening (as we arrived too late), the dinner was waiting for us prepared in our room ! without asking/ordering in advance. Absolutely quiet location in the night, after 22:30 you can hear waves from the sea also in rooms oriented to the pool. No noise from other guests, no shouting & laughing from the bar ... The hotel was full of families with children (including mine) and the night was really quiet every time - I was surprised - we could sleep with window open although our room was oriented to the pool. Hotel was fully booked but there were no queues in restaurant, neither morning nor lunch or dinner, as mentioned already, the staff did a great job. Food was very good and tasty, with so many choices of cold and warm kitchen, fresh fruits and vegetables. Nothing was missing even if we came 15 minutes before closing ! We also very much enjoyed Croatian water melons, they were just great. Big plus is also an option to eat on big and spacious terrace (if it's not too hot), close to promenade. Room was pretty small and simple furnished, but clean and practical. However the stay in this hotel was not about the room, but rather about the service and the food and the sea of course ...Guest review byMilanSlovakia
- From $175.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 651 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made the check-in process smooth and answered all our questions with a smile. The mobile home was spotless and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning kept us cool during the warm days. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Our mobile home had a spacious veranda where we enjoyed our morning coffee and evening drinks. It was a wonderful spot to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. The campsite is situated right by the Adriatic Sea, offering stunning views and easy access to a clean, serene beach. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Croatia.Guest review bySašaSerbia
- From $164.31 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 1,446 reviewsLocation of the hotel was excellent, room was clean and satisfactory, air condition and WiFi were working perfectly. Room is small, could be bigger and some furniture replacement would be great improvement. Shower cabin was a bit smaller than it should be. Food was excellent, we've had breakfasts and dinners. Staff was very polite and kind and willing to help you in any matter. Even the Manager of the hotel was cordially chatting with us and asking if we were satisfied with our stay. Thanks to the Manager, hotel has recently introduced pet friendly approach and we've had wonderful stay with our dog Ruby. We've liked everything in the hotel and recommending it for pleasant stay in Pomena, Mljet.Guest review byMirnaCroatia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.5Good - What previous guests thought, 909 reviewsWe loved the room and the beach. The staff was great, everyone was so nice. The piñas coladas at the Kaktus bar were amazing and the food was also delicious. It was my birthday and they prepared me cupcakes with candles for dinner. The place is amazing and the beach is beautiful, just be sure to take some shoes because there are rocks at the beach. There are a lot of activities to do during the day and the island has beautiful spots. After the check out they let us stay there and use the facilities, which was great. Thank you for an amazing stay we had a lot of fun!!Guest review byAlexandraGermany

Great location right on the beach. I advise going for a room in the newer section of the hotel, since the rooms are modern and up to date.Guest review byTerryCanada

Lovely promenade - masses of bars and restaurants, great atmosphere in the evening, particularly. People promenading, very buzzy and busy, great for people watching. Huge choice of places to eat and drink all day. Not much to do in Split itself, but lots of places to visit from there - number 37 bus to Trogir (or better to get the ferry, it's quicker and much more pleasant!), day trip to Plitvice Lakes or Krka Lakes, ferry to Hvar Island (and get the bus to Stari Grad and climb the hill to the cross, then have a beer on the harbour front). Hvar Town has a lovely promenade - and quieter than Split, more chilled. Luxor bar and restaurant was a real find in the evening - live music, people sitting around the courtyard/atrium, really great vibe. Also felt safe enough walking the streets back to my accom at night (though I wasn't very late).Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Dubrovnik is one of my favorite spots in the world!!!
Dubrovnik is one of my favorite spots in the world!!! It offers a stunning medieval Old Town, gorgeous coast, and rich culture and history. Getting to the Old Town through the Pile Gate and you cross into a different world. It is the UNESCO World Heritage site, and you can explore many of its alleys and small streets. Do not stay only on the main one (Stradun). Go see a concert at the Knjezeva Palaca, or see Art Exhibit opening. The options are limitless.Guest review byZmaj ISwitzerland - 10.0

The old city of Zadar is historically very interesting. It also has a sea organ. Fantastic place to go sailing from as there are lots of beautiful islands to visit including the Kornati National Park.Guest review byUrsulaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia - 6.0

Makarska is nice place to visit in June and September. July and August is very hot and a lot off tourists on the beach, and on the streets. A lot of traffic, problem to find parking place. We only walk and stay overnight in Makarska center. Biokovo skywalk is fantasticGuest review bySlobodankaNorway - 6.0

Hvar centre is over priced and if you do not get recommendations where to eat you could end up paying a lot of money for poor quality meals. The island itself is beautiful and worth exploring on your on own. Jelsa would be a much better based than Hvar old town, where a glass of wine is half the price!Guest review byPhilG75United Kingdom - 10.0

Sibenik ending up being one of the surprise highlights of our trip! The Old Town is quaint and beautiful. It did not feel touristy and yet felt welcoming to tourists. There were plenty of restuarants with a variety of choices. We visited the end of June as the annual International Children's festival was winding up and the town was decorated with streamers with hanging flags of children's drawing--so charming! We loved that it was within a reasonable distance to Split and only 15-20 minutes to Krka National Park.Guest review byJenW13United States - 6.0
Vodice is a very crowded place.
Vodice is a very crowded place. The beach is long but not very wide, so there were many people, and sometimes you couldn’t even find a spot to put your towel. The city center is also not as beautiful as other Croatian cities, such as Poreč, Pula, Omiš, or Zadar. It doesn’t offer much to explore, but there are some nice places to see nearby, such as the islands of Prvić and Murter. We also liked the beach in Rovinj, which has many more facilities. On the beach in Vodice, there is also a nightclub that gets really loud, so it’s not the best option for a holiday with small children.Guest review byNatáliaSlovakia - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0

Cavtat is a beautiful place, with many attractions great for walking and relaxing. It is very easy to get around, you can take the water taxi to visit Dubrovnik or local bus. Plenty of restaurants to enjoy the local food along the promenade. The sunsets are wonderful in the evening. It is very safe and the people are very friendly.Guest review byHelenUnited Kingdom
