I liked everything about it! Rita and the rest of the staff were so nice. very caring and helpful. I got a lot of traveling tips and my request were answered positively with a smile. The room was very clean. It was cleaned every day and the location was great. I recommend aloha hotel highly.

Hotel Ceria is a very homey and strategically located inn. The friendliness of the staffs, from the owner to the housekeepers, Mr. Nanang (manager) who always made sure all our needs were met really made us feel at home. I love this hotel. It is very convenient for lay overs at Yogyakarta International, efficient transfers to and from airport. Beautiful and modern design, many areas to relax. Great coffe at the coffee bar, and breakfast or room service. Cool pool :). Perfect for connections with super clean rooms, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tooth brush and paste, sewing kit, shoe polish..etc... BUT... for me the staff.. every department, so friendly and accommodating . They went out of their way to provide me me with wifi connection while there was a temporary wifi problem. You can be sure to be looked after. I stayed there twice and they will be always my choice of accommodation.  Thank you to all the beautiful staff of Grand Dafam Yogyakarta. Much much appreciated :)

everything, great staff, probably the most professional and friendly staff I have ever dealt with. everyone spoke English. like, even the kids were able to have conversations with the staff and every interaction we had was positive. amazing (free) breakfast, best breakfast I ever had in Indonesia. spectacular array of pools in all temperature, depths and sizes with rope swing, water slides, a basketball hoop and floaties, surrounded by well taken care of gardens. free hot tub/sauna area. everything was spotless clean. rooms had amazing views.

    there is an outdoor food centre just nearby, the local supermarket and laundromat are about 10 minutes walking. the location is in the middle between Malioboro street and Prambanan so getting around between both were convinience. If you want to go to a bigger and classy mall it was not that far away as well by using Grab which is much cheaper to go to. Prices for food is really affordable as there are restaurants that are student friendly budget that we can enjoy.

    Couldn't say much as it was a village. We didn't explore much outside the resort except eat at the restaurant nightly. The locals are friendly though but that's probably because we spoke Bahasa to them. We tried to cycle around with the free bicycles offered by our resort but it proved too strenuous as the area is hilly! Cycling downhill was fun but I couldn't say the same for cycling uphill.

    Its an absolutely brilliant place to visit with some hidden gems, Borobudur temple, prambanan temple, yogyakarta city, Jomblang caves. You can easily spend close to a week there and city has a great arts scene and lot of live performances in the evening. City crowds are absolutely lively and fun :). People are relaxed and evenings were a lot of fun. Ramayana Ballet is a must visit, its a 90 minute performance absolutely stunning. Water Castle of Yogyakarta is a small visit along the way but quite beautiful along with the royal palace. Malioboro square has lot of shopping options and food options are quite good as well. Visit the cafe next to Bank Indonesia, its a nice surprise.

    I spent 3 nights in Yogyakarta and I loved it.

    I spent 3 nights in Yogyakarta and I loved it. It’s a less touristy city, full of culture and history. The pace of life is slower compared to Bali, but still very enjoyable. Gojek and Grab also work well here. I highly recommend not missing Prambanan and Borobudur. Both are absolutely worth visiting, and if you have the time, it’s best to do them on separate days so you can take your time to explore and enjoy each site fully. Keep in mind that not everyone speaks English, so I often used a translator to communicate.
