Galway always has a lovely vibe, with lots to see and do and plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy. We were only staying one day but got to walk the town and visit St. Nicholas's Church, the oldest structure in the city at 800 years old. The exhibits in it were great in telling the history of the city albeit in a working church. It's also good to walk along the banks of the River Corrib see the Spanish Arch, Shop St. etc.Guest review byPaulIreland - 8.0

The hotel is a short walk from the village. There were some lovely walks close to the hotel so you could park up and still be able to continue exploring beautiful Connemara on foot. The village is a continuation of the beautiful atmosphere of the hotel, friendly and great food.Guest review byO'Halloran - 10.0

Cleanliness in the room is first class. Furnitures are shiny and spotless up to the highest standard. Staffs were professional and welcoming. Friendly and very happy to help. From the moment we arrived in the hotel, the accommodation delivered on every promise of comfort and luxury. When we entered our room, the smell was lovely and refreshing, the bed looks so beautiful and comfy, room very clean and presented nicely and bathroom very clean and shiny. A special thank you to the staff Trixie and Jackie for making our stay so memorableGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Outside the town is more interesting than inside.
Outside the town is more interesting than inside. But avoid the minibus tours. Our driver, John, spent five frickin' hours driving around trying to find more passengers, during which time he showed us only two of the sights. He also spent some of the time essentially providing a taxi service, and treated his taxi customers with much more consideration than his tour passengers. It was a waste of our money and a much bigger waste of our limited time on the island.Guest review byKarenUnited States - 8.0

This B&B was a short drive to Galway city and offered a quiet refuge. We had stayed in the city for excitement and that was just fine but the Claregalway cottage was a welcome change -- the location was near to few businesses.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
