Allow plenty of time for the Guinness storehouse, an experience not to be missed. Arlington Celtic night was amazing- good food/Irish music and dancing. The different times offered for this, allow for staggered food service. The show actually starts at 8pm. When we came out at 10pm, Dublin was still buzzing, vibrant and colourful! Dublin castle was a surprise inside and worth a visit, as are the Cathedrals. Make sure you visit the Temple Bar area for atmosphere and shop. Once we figured out where to get 8 euro/day bus/tram passes and downloaded the app, getting around was easier. Still did an awful lot of walking though.Guest review byBarbaraUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Beautiful city with tonnes of history and pretty much everything is within walking distance if you’re someone who’s older or has limited mobility. Everyone I met in the town were warm and friendly. Kilkenny castle being the obvious standout but the wee design area just across from the castle with all the bespoke shops are run by characters and very talented people! If you’re looking for a more relaxed, go at your own pace with tonnes of history then Kilkenny is perfect for a one to two nights getawayGuest review byDarrenIreland - 10.0

Wexford is situated seaside.
Wexford is situated seaside. It has a beautiful port that is several hundred feet wide and lends itself to many kinds of group activities. It's perfect for walking and looking landward to the colorful town built on a hillside. The meandering streets throughout the town are perfect for walking and enjoying the many beautiful buildings. Restaurants and cafes abound along every street.Guest review byThomasUnited States - 10.0

There is so much to do and see in Waterford such as the coaster resorts of Dunmore and Tramore. The Copper coast is fascinating and easily reachable. The historical centre of the city is well worth a visit and various guided tours are available online and on site. Plenty of golf and fishing if thats your thing. Mountcongreve Estate and gardens are a must visit.Guest review byCrodaunIreland - 8.0

Swords is a bustling town with a reasonable range of shops and heaps of Cafes. Nearby Pavillions shopping complex is a very large mall with everything you need. Swoprds Castle in town is worth a visit but parking is a major problem in the township unless you carry cash. It would be so much easier if cards were accepted. Streets are narrow and can get congested.Guest review byPat TaylorNew Zealand - 8.0
If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not...
If you are looking for cutting-edge city life, this is not for you. Dundalk is a former railway town, largely built round the (now defunct) works for the GNRI and with much 19th century red-brick architecture. It has a busy high street with a lot of small shops, pubs and restaurants, none are grand, it reminds me of similar towns in the UK before planning blight took hold. A lot of effort seems to have gone into smartening the place up in recent years, which is nice. Would that other towns of its scale have survived so well it would be nothing exceptional, but as so few have, it has a real charm. As a base, it is well sited to explore the countryside around, which has a long and interesting history, with a lot of historic sites.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
